A new run switch!!!

Have you noticed that your little yellow boot (that shows your remaining run percentage) near the mini-map is a lighter shade of yellow? Well, click it! It turns run on and off.

I have no idea when that happened. But I sure am glad not to have to go to the system settings page to toggle run any more.

Another little known secret is to hold the control key and click somewhere and you run there. little easier than clicking.

I noticed that yesterday, I thought it just showed if you're running or not, didn't know it was a button until a few minutes later.

I accidentally click it sometimes when I'm trying to click somewhere on the map.

I noticed it either yesterday or two days ago, it makes my life alot easier, no more interface changes to turn run on for 3 seconds :p

Yeah, saw it on Runewire and said, "Wow, another stupid update that is barely useful", I think it's useful, saves us 3 seconds to switch interfaces.

Yeah it was implemented yesterday, I hadn't closed the RS window from the previous night and tried logging in and it said "RuneScape was updated, please reload!". That and I'm 100% sure it wasn't there Monday.

I like it, going through the interfaces can be annoying sometimes. And if you hold control to run, you don't stop running until you come to a stop. So if you want to run past a wild dog in Brimhaven dungeon, but want to walk after fleeing him (and you're using CTRL), you'd have to come to a complete stop to start walking again.

I didn't notice it at first until Lance said something to me about it yesterday. I find it to be a nice improvement.

Yeah...there's a little message thingy when you log in.I can't believe none of you(or most of you) don't read it. :roll:

I'm sure I'll use the new run button a lot once I get used to it,but for now I still automatically go to options(or system settings..whatever it is) and run that way. :oops:
