Deposit boxes as price checks

Jagex should just show the value of your inventory items based on GE prices when you use a deposit box. It would cut down on a lot of the price checks at banks. I don't mind price checks occasionally but lately I've noticed that a lot of price checks are just bank sale pitches. My goodwill is starting to wear thin.

I thought giving all items a 'value' option was a good idea, but we don't want people getting too lazy .. my goodwill ran out a while a go

so I just tell them to go to GE or ignore them. Wouldn't complain about deposit box checks though.

Oh, that would be awesome!

Not only would it reduce the "OMG PRICE CHECK TRADE ME AND SEE MY NOOBY ITEMS" people in banks, but you'd instantly know how much money you made by whatever you are banking from!

I was hoping it would show the total net worth of your bank/tab with the bank update but I guess not.
Would also be nice if there was a button in your inventory to display inventory worth. Or in the bank besides where it says the tab value, have it say the current total price of your inventory.

Have it display with all items on mid price. And then actually make it could and be able to mouse over it to show max, mid, and min prices.
On second though about the button in the inventory, it should just always display it. If theres enough room for a button, theres enough room for text. But if there was a button, it could open a interface in the chat box that says all three prices and maybe some other things.

I'd actually thought the same as Warren said, that would be really sweet.
It also would make comparing banks much easier.
And what's more fun in Runescape then comparing? :p

Well, if you want to know the value of an item, you can check the Grand Exchange section of the Runescape site.
You'll find a lot of things there.
And because the option is there, Jagex will most likely never add it in-game.

I have always wanted a little button on your bank that will tell you the net worht of your bank.

very good Idea! I would like that update and it would not take that much work for jagex!!
