Untradeable...

Today then got on to cheer me mate whit 99 att, well i am bit retired since of uncoming exams, some random person came to me (i was standing in fog) and asked me if i could give some fog tokens for him well of course i pointed out it was untradeable but he was like yeh i know so just drop it... So i it made me confused and i was asking meself: what is undradable item? Corect me if i am wrong but it's item wich can't be traded, can't be seen while on ground by other person thus making it imposible to drop trade, item wich no one can get even if u die, can't be staked and so on... I just don't understand how ppl can't realise such a simple thing.

I don't mind if they ask the first time and I say it's untradable, but after that, it annoys me. Like, I'm cutting willows in a free to play world, and I still have on some member items, say, a Cape of Legends, and some person comes up. He asks me if he can buy my cape for, say, 5k. I say that it's untradable. Now, where he could just use his brain and realize that, he goes on. Usually, they ask me to take it off and try. Since I'm free to play and couldn't put it on afterwards, I just say no. They keep bugging, while I keep saying he's members only. They usually get around to asking me to drop it.

I thought untradeable meant there's no way you can give it to someone else, so I think you're right there. If someone keeps asking me, I usually ignore them and they report me for autoing. Such a friendly, understanding bunch of people.

We were in Edgeville.

But yeah,I don't get how some people just can't understand that some things are untradable.I think I'd know,if it's my item. :roll:

Yeh, it's still funny when people ask you to trade stuff that clearly is untreadable.

It really shouldn't be a hard concept to grasp.

People get it in their minds that 'drop trading', this horrible thing that Jagex tries to prevent, is when you drop something that you shouldn't be able to trade and then someone picks it up. This definition isn't correct, as drop trading involved transfering wealth from one player to another by dropping TRADEABLE items, quite often to a different account owned by the same person.

I find this a lot of times, people are just so dumb sometimes! I had this "friend" who asked me so many questions over and over that were so easy. Now he never logs in.

TOKENS SHOULD TRADEABLE!!!!!!!!! Because my sister wants gauntlets but she needs tokens and she said she doesn't want to play the minigame because she is too low level and she can't have them!

That's just more of an incentive to do the minigame. If you won all the time, it wouldn't be fun. If you had to work to get what you want, you'll actually appreciate it once you get whatever it is.

yeah the people that think this works are idoits. if they are untradable you cant transfer them and that is that.

We all have to remember,

every single account made was a noob sometime (even mine).

i hated it when i got called a noob.

Noone told me what to do, i had to either figure it out by myself or pay someone.

now 4 years later i know just about all the tricks of the trade (not meaning to brag or anything)

let's treat everybody equally

unless they say something stupid like "uhh i died and went to this place called lumbridge,

could you plz tell me where i am :mrgreen:

Sure, you were a newb/noob when you started. But being called a noob at level 100+ by a level 37 is simply ridiculous.

I remember someone wanted to buy my Zamorak Cape.
