RuneScape Poll Week #1 - Combat Skills or Non-Combat Skills

Poll:

This poll is simply asking whether you prefer and like training combat skills or the non-combat skills. Please explain your reasoning when submitting an answer to this poll.

Reasoning for my choice:

I prefer raising combat skills because in my opinion I think combat skills stick out more, have more valuable benefits, and is cooler than non-combat skills. For instance, I'd rather be combat level 138 than to have 6, 7, or 8 non-combat skills at level 99 because it displays me as a strong and skilled player, where as the 6, 7, or 8 level 99 non-combat skills display me to be weak and just skilled. I love killing monsters and I love all the things that require combat, such as the many known popular mini-games. Not to mention, any cool gear that you want to get will require pretty hefty high combat skills, such as the god armors and swords.

In a nutshell, I just think that non-combat skills are more boring than training combat skills.

That's a pretty hard choise. I actually like to train both at the same speed. But if I've to choose what to train from now on, I'd say non-combat since I'm already pretty happy with my combat skills.

I guess I prefer "combat skills" because combat's much more fun than most non-combat skills which don't really add much into the game at all; Such as theiving, firemaking and hunter. :/

Combat's really the most important aspect of the game, practically every skill is beneficial to combat and without it - most skills would be very empty.

I'll go with non-combat. There's a bigger variety of things you can do and less chance of dying.

combat skills all the way idk i just hate skilling and i get bored easily when doing it also i like combat related minigames and stuff so good combat skills is a must, well non combat skills offers biger variety but its more like doing same thing all and all over again till u lvl up etc while combat u can choose what to kill where to train so its umm less boring and has lets say more action.

I like to train combat for the most part and take breaks while training up my other skills.

I enjoy training skills more right now. That will probably change later, but for now, I train combat to help with quests which help me train skills easier.

I like training both but if I had to choose between the two then I would pick combat.

I liked training combat. But it's not so much fun now as the HP points don't get any more levels.

I've always viewed myself as a skiller. And always tried to remain a lower combat compared to my skill total.

I always get a giggle out of meeting some stuck up ******* of a level 130 only to discover his skill total is a few hundred below me, good job you trained a few skills to get an E-Ego boost. With that said, i don't get the level 3 skillers, i don't see how there skillers when they neglect several skills.

Seems a bit silly to me but ah whatever, as long as there having fun. So i guess skills for me but to me, that includes combat skills. So i guess both? XD

Currently, combat is where it is at. Soon as I get my Ranging and Slayer capes, we'll take a look. Most non-combat skills just seem boring to me. Meh.

But with other things, you can do more than one strategy.

Yeah, I prefer combat, but only cause I get a thrill out of seeing something suffer before my might@@

I like combat more because it actually makes me stay awake, I can just sit there and sleep when I'm doing most skills and they get really boring since there's only really 1 or 2 good ways of training that skill when combat skills have dozens, even hundreds of different monsters that offer good and exciting training. Also I think I just like killing things..
