if you ever pked, were you great at it? did you get a lot of kills? were you pwnage overall? did you own people who were higher lvl than you? discuss! tell us what happened

I actually never got into the whole Pk'ing thing. I mean, trying to earn enough money for potions, food, and armour, then finally getting a kill. And what do you do after that? You sell the loot for more potion, food, and armour. But I guess that's ultimately the goal of every skill in this game.

Pair that with the fact that I was never good at it, and I would get owned by people like 10 level below me.

Just wasn't for me.

I've always liked PKing, I made several pures and got my share of decent kills.

PKing on Dark Spartez was quite a success as well. Having a decent strength level (87) along with a reasonable defence level (75) to balance myself over Rune Pures with 95+ Strength and a shameful 45 Defence.

After the King's Ransom quest came out and completing it, PKing went to a whole new level for me. While most people limited their prayer level to 52, I already had mine at 70, so I could already use Piety. Most of the time I ripped through opponents hitting up to 39. One time I was asked if I had 99 Strength. :}

Best ever kill: A guy who thought it would be funny to attack someone who wasn't even PKing (Me) whilst wearing Ahrims robe top and skirt with a whip. I ran to the bank got out my Whip, a DDS(P++) and some Initiate and went back and saw him there again.
I eventually killed him, my first time using Smite and I got the whole lot.

I went PKing maybe 2 times at most. I was never really good but I got full rune once, then I realised in the time it took me to find someone and then kill them I could've made mroe money. Was a waste to me...

It's sad, sad story, never was I the pwner, I was always the pwnee- due to the fact I never pked on purpose I only got killed while abyssal runecrafting.

So in answer to your question-I was a hopeless pker.

i at first wasnt a keen pker, the the risk of losing a load of cash :S then mate convinced me to make a f2p pure u know a month to train and bit of cheap fun. then decided to make a rune pure turned out really gd rsn soostrong i lost loads like 4 whips and warrior ring in like 3 days and yes the rate at which u get ccahs its pointless but the happiness when i killed some 1 and w00t dds it was a bit of FUN!!!! IS THAT NOT WHAT THE GAME IS SUPPOSED TO B ABOUT?

one time i pwned a lvl 97 ^^ when i was lvl 87... the thing is, i try to use accurate as my attack style, so it will hit most of the time; plus i used a str pot.. :lol:

i wish pking still existed.. most of time i pwned the pker (mage ftw?!!), and i had a fun time with friends while pking; but oh well...

Back in the day, 2 years ago, I did alot of Pking before my first main had unfortunately been hacked, then banned.

Nowadays I don't really Pk, well have no option not to Pk, but before update I didnt.

Pking is basically all about luck, the ammount of levels on a certain skill, and tactics.

Everything in Runescape is luck based, even getting the username you want is lucky

I wasn't huge in to Pking, but I did enjoy going once every few weeks, or on the weekends with friends. We weren't a true pking team, just some amateurs that enjoyed the option to get some loot while killing other players. Made quite a few friends this way - friendships that are continuing past the lack of Wilderness.

I wasn't a good pker by any standards - usually only wore 'junk' (not 1-iteming) and didn't like to take many risks. However, I do miss the fun activity.

Also a level 87 couldn't have attacked a 97 there in the first place.
