What's the big deal with capes?

I know it's like a fashion statement but it's more of a hazard if you think about it. In reality, enemies could just grab you by your cape and kill you. What if you got it caught in or on something spinning? Your completely screwed at that point...

It would hurt them more then it's gonna hurt me lol.

Ok, originally, I thought that you meant there was like some new agility thing that I missed, that can catch your cape or something, I was wrong. If you don't like cape, don't wair them. End of story.

ok well for one thats from a movie...and also they do have a purpose

skillcape:
show that you are a true master of a certain skill

wilderness:
to know whos on your side and to kill

firecape:
show that you have defeated jad

legends:
show you are a legend

other:
to give a low def bonus

I don't see how that's different from someone pointing a gun at a another person's head who is not wearing a cape.

I didn't recognise they had a small def bonus. I only looked at the range bonus. and they do look cool.

The fire cape also adds an attack bonus of 1 to your stats mom.

I kinda like your idea of being able to grap an opponent by the cape though. It'd be interesting to watch.

I guess above all the skill capes are a status symbol - showing what you have managed to accomplish.

Yesterday I was making flour and my quest cape got caught in the grinder as a breeze blew it too close. Thank god for quick release capes

Capes give bonus' + some look good.
