level 99 fireworks

Just a thought as I just getting to 99 firemaking. Shouldnt Jagex let off a giant big firework when we reach level 99 rather the usual small spark flying like any normal levels. What do you guys think?

Or perhaps something special happens instead?

Like a one off emot. Say you get 99 fm, flames erupt around you or something?

99 WC could have a tree shoot up from under you and leave you sitting in it or something.

I think that'd be a really cool idea.

That would be kind of harsh though. Imagine missing the emote because you turn around when its on. There could be some sort of chooseable emote for your cape. You could go to the capemaster and choose which emote you want, but can only have 1 at a time.

We already have Skill Cape emotes, one is enough. But yeah, bigger fireworks could work.

that would be neat i dont know what they could do for other skills but a neat thing with firemaking would be the bigger fire works and maybe the fire on the final log make it glow like in different colors also. that would be neat

The same as you could miss the "bigger fireworks", fireworks lets face it, suck. The RS engine can't create decent looking fireworks.

A one off emot is something special. You get fireworks emot all the way, why not a special gift at the end for 99.

A firework is always a sign for celebration. Most peeps get their friends together to celebrate their lvl 99 achievement. A good nice fireworks would be seem more appropriate.

Maybe they should scale the fireworks as you level up... level 1 being hardly visible an lvl 99 taking up entire squares surrounding you.

Something like that sounds interesting and pretty cool.

I can't see "bigger" fireworks being as I imagine them in RuneScape, and they would probably be rather unimpressive.

They might look okay (or good) if it was during a cut scene.
Maybe there could be a 99 cut scene just before you get 99 with the emote Creepy was talking about, a celebration, the fireworks in the background (with a real sky?

), etc.?

Many good ideas, but no matter what, something special, setting the achievement apart, should be done. It is a very significat achievement in this game so it should be noteworthy for all within sight to notice.

Actually I have a really good idea about this. When you reach level 99 in a skill, you do that skill cape emote. You don't activate nor do you do it twice. You just do it to let everyone around you know you just got 99, and to let yourself know, you should go get the cape to do the emote again. (If anyone wants to posr this in RS Forums, go for it, just give me the credit please. Thanks.)
