They assigned a new wielding method, similar to attack levels and the types, but adding Strength levels into effect as well?
I just thought about this and sorry if it's been suggested before, but you can lock this if it has.
I was just thinking since attack levels are needed to wield bronze, iron, steel, mith, addy, rune, dragon, barrows, etc. What about strength levels?
Would it be too much interference to other things like attack pures, and members special items?
I just see it as a parallel system to attack levels, but with the different weapons we have: sword, longsword, scimitar, battleaxe etc.
Maybe it would be something like this:
Bronze - sword, axe, dagger, pick - Str lvl 1
scimitar and longsword - Str lvl 2
mace - Str level 3
battleaxe - Str lvl 5
2hander and war hammer - level 8
and repeat, like after the attack requirement just add to those levels
so mithril would be
sword, axe, dagger, pick - Str level 20
scimitar and longsword - Str level 22
mace - Str level 23
battleaxe - Str lvl 25
2hander and warhammer - Str level 28
I know it's a bit confusing, but I judged/estimated the strength levels according to how heavy the weapon would be if I were to judge it based on looks and amount of metal on it.
It could always be changed to become the same format as the smithing levels it takes to make the weapons, but I thought it'd be illogical to have more strength to wield a battleaxe than a warhammer imho
I know this idea probably wouldn't get accepted and implemented into the game but I'm just sharing my thoughts and wondering:
What do you think would happen if this was actually IN the game?
(Besides screwing up all the pking and a total mess with the variety of weapons in members world- granite mauls and the other stuff I have no idea what they are
)
