Delayed Teleport Options!

... ok, let me explain.

On the magic interface, you can choose between immediate or delayed teleport. If you choose "immediate", then when you click 'teleport', it teleports you. Nothing changes from what's happening right now.

But when you choose "delayed teleport" and click 'teleport', then it turns the magic screen into .... I dunno, a crystal ball with a button that said 'teleport' and one that says 'cancel'.

Here's the trick. To get to that screen, you use the runes. While you're in a delayed-teleport status, you can't cast spells.

What's it good for, you may ask? Well, wouldn't it be awesome if you could fight stuff and have those extra 2 inventory slots you usually take up to carry teleport runes free?

Pretty sweet idea, eh?

Great Idea, could save someone in barrows and easier for doing quests.

One problem is that it ups the rate of the melee and range telliers in the wild because they dont have to waste the 3 inven space on runes.

Great Idea though.

Hm, I think it's a very good idea. :P The extra spaces would be really handy, and it would be no more accidentally teleporting to the wrong place. :)

I'm still wondering why you need a tinderbox to light things on fire when you are fmer lvl 90+...if you are master fmer why can't you start a fire by rubbing two sticks together...like master fmer can do?

What's wrong with the home port spell? I never take teleport runes when fighting now. This really wouldn't add anything to the game other than convenience.

Well that is when you are surrounded by several monsters trying to attack you and you can't teleport to wherever your home area is.

:| That isn't the smartest thing to do while Slaying. XD

Bring a Lleyta teleport crystal(3), it will help, and it is only one space.

Well you could always run to a safe spot if you're killing agressive monsters (after the hours of slaying there).

Or a teletab is good.

It is a good idea but it would have to have a time limit.

Like for delayed varrock you cast it with the normal runes (1 fire, 1 law, and 3 airs) and it delays it for 30 minutes and if you don't teleport within 30 minutes it goes away, and you lose the runes.

And for a 2 hour delay it would cost 4x as much since you're waiting 4x as long. (Thus it'd cost 4 Fires, 4 Laws, and 12 Airs.)

If there was no time limit then it would let anyone go anywhere in RS. And like a few people said it would make Pkers too powerful since they'd tele right as they're about to die. (I know they already do that but they'd have two extra inventory spots also.)

It sounds good but jagex would just never put it in... it would make it that much easier to escape the wild! tho its pretty easy as it is... it would be that much easier!
