Do u think full Dragon is worth it anymore?

Dragon used to be like the coolest thing but now there is barrows... so do u think that full dragon is worth spending liek 18mill on when u can get a barrow set for 8mil post below and tell me what u think thanks

You have to pay to repair Barrows.

Dragon is for life, not just for Christmas (or any other time for that matter).

Dragon looks cool, doesn't need repairing and pretty much shows that you're rich.

Barrows is cool, has decent effects and doesn't cost as much.

I'd rather have barrows armour.

they way i think of it is if i can spend 8 mil on full guthan or sumthing than shurley i can spend like 200k to fix it no problem but thats just me

But I would rather have Dragon merely for the fact that it shows off you are rich, and not many people have full dragon anymore.

It's 3rd age these days. Dragon is out, 3rd age is in.

I like both. I think it's better to wear dragon if your playing castle wars, fun staking, etc., but if you need the stat bonuses/effects for serious combat it's best to wear Barrows.

I only have full Veracs and Karils. And both don't get used a lot. I use rune over Verac and I just don't range a lot. I want full dragon to replace the rune, but my goal is to get all my dragon armor from drops, which hasn't gone to well as I have only gotten the spear, which was over a year ago and sold.

I've had full dragon a few times and I prefer it then barrows, If you are a active player in combat like myself barrows costs Tons because its breaking so much, so i always went for Dragon, Plus dragon dropped a lot.

I don't have Full Dragon anymore i like my guilded and robin set with a bit of fair cash saving in bank.

Edit: 3rd age is kinda useless for its price.

Barrows looks Fat and Ugly, and most of em are skirts which puts me off lol.

no special... No Special!!>!?!? dragon weapons have ACTUAL special attacks, not just effects. the beyond rediculous dragon dagger, the anti prayer scimitar, the temporary battleaxe effect of the dragon mace, the battleaxe itself... the hella accurate d long, etc. you cannot say that dragon has no specials.

in addition, 8 mill, 5 mill, whatever it is, barrows armour costs an additional 22k per hour of combat. (330k to repair from 0, 15 hours of combat till total degen) if I'm wrong on that, please correct me. but overall, that will add up. anyone who owns barrows armour uses it to fight, and let me tell you, 450 hours is nothing to the standard player, and in that time, dragon armour. will make itself pay off.

bear in mind, i am not dissing barrows armour, it is great, and 22k isn't much to pay, but i personally would only buy a set to use verac's to go kill the kq a few dozen times and get a dragon chain body, then sell it again and use full dragon. much more effective, reducing the cost of full dragon to only 4 or 5 mill.

on the subject of third age, i wouldn't reccomend actually buying it... just do clue scrolls on a regular basis like me and my friends, and eventually you'll get a piece, and if you didn't want that piece, then you can sell it and use the money to help get the one you wanted.

PS: good luck getting a 3rd age kite shield, its worth more than a party hat at the moment. if you get one, never log out without banking it, or sell it to an incredibly rich person for 160+ mill.
