 Post subject: Appreciation for Mods
PostPosted: May 22nd, 2007, 3:57 pm
This thread is a thread to show your appreciation for the wonderful forum mods, I greatly appreciate what the forum mods do for these forums, they do so well. Although they do not get paid, they still do thier jobs.

I just want to let all you forum mods know that you are doing a good job, and keep up the good work.

Anyone who appreciates the forum mods sign the thread, and post your appreciation.

I also want to add my appreciation for the Jagex Mods, and the player mods.

Thank you Jagex for making such a wonderful game.

Thank you player mods, for helping keep the peace within the game.

~Note~
Please do not name any players, forum mods, player mods, or jagex mods. Thank you

We try our best, we even work long hours! We would even stand on our heads for you players! As a bonus, Both the Jmods and All the Pmods are getting together to try to make runescape bot free!

Thanks for the support, I'll pass this on to my comrades.

Oh, you rock out loud too, forum mods!

Player mods really have little power and do not actually do much.

Forums mods are (mostly) jerks.

Jagex staff, on the most part deserve the credit for keeping the game running (fairly) smoothly.

Can't say I appreciate all player mods, considering not just one, but many that I met actually abuse their powers.

I have to agree with waffles pmods don't have much power in the game. Besides for the crown and the ability to mute players they're pretty much just like us.

I'm yet to see any P-Mods, other than my cousin, use there powers.
J-Mods; I am grateful for, I often see some at new quests etc.
RSBandB Forums mods are good at their job, i often see them posting on threads and keeping things tidy, etc.

Most pmods are just loser 10 year olds who run around looking for things to report.

The Runescape forum mods are basically the same thing, but they are a little better and do kinda help keep the forums nicer.

The only mods who deserve most of the credit are jmods.

I pity them. XD
Think about it, whatever pmods say is seen by everyone, regardless of chat being on or off. No privacy.
If a pmod speaks, they get bombarded by nubs. MOG-A-MOD
People HATE them for no apparent reason.
Personally, I couldn't stand being a pmod.

People hate them for doing their job because they fear getting busted by one themselves.

:/

I respect the player moderators that do their job right and know how to do it, and not abuse their powers. But I hate it when theres a level 54, immature 10 year old moderator who started playing a few months earlier.

I respect the Jagex moderators and RSBAndB Forum moderators alot more than the player moderators, though. I mostly see player moderators who don't know anything, have 3 stats on the hiscores, and have only played for a few months.

I agree, all I ever see are little kids who go and report people all the time, then after they're a Player Moderator, they go and never report anyone ever again, and never mute anyone.

I see level 30-60 moderators everywhere now, and it's starting to get under my skin, all Jagex is doing currently is just making quests, and reading people's reports, and then making them a Player Moderator, and it's really annoying.

I'm not saying that I don't like them, it's just like I really don't like Jagex making kids who use "u" for "you" and "r" for "are", ect.

I'm pretty sure they get to choose whther or not they become modded. They get a message from Jagex and then decline or accept.

And I agree. My friend is a pmod and he is constantly bombarded with hate messages, "what is that crown?", or people just asking questions about the game. I would hate it. I like my peace and privacy 8)
