Safe or Speedy?

Every time I hear a question about something on the safer route or the faster route, almost everyone wants to be fast and doesn't care about safety.

For example, someone might ask if they should use fairy rings or the abyss to craft nature runes.

Today, a new way to safely craft chaos runes was introduced. I have heard rants about "the only reason I did the quest was for my cape," but I beg to differ. I like the safe way to craft chaos. It lets me avoid the wilderness, just like I have always done.

I also am a prayer noob, and a defence noob, and a tele noob, and so on, just trying to be safe.
I use the abyssal space for my pouches, and only go to the abyss when my pouches are broken.

So, would you rather be safe or speedy?

The golden rule, in between.

It also depends what the risks are, like in abyssal crafting, you can gain more than you can lose, that's if you're good at evanding pkers.

It really depends on the situation. How dangerous. The Abyss hasn't caused any problems since I started using it all the time when I craft nature runes. Though I get 5 less runes per trip than people with glory amulets because of the way I do it.

Yea, I always use the abyss to craft my nats because I am not afraid of dying, I lose nothing of real value. Like Warren, I do not use glorys to craft nats but I can still get 33 nats a trip using the small and medium puch, so i'm not sure what he's doing running at 5 less than others.

Speedy. If I'm runecrafting I'm always using the Abbyss unless I'm crafting mind, air or fire. For the first two running is about as fast. And for the last one there's something faster than the abbyss.

So speed for me. But I do keep an eye on my safety.

I woud rather go the safe way than the dangerous way.I don't want to lose my hard earned stuff to some pker who couldn't get a bronze dagger if it weren't for the idiots that die every I dunno maybe 12-20sec. I don't want to lose anything of value (I bet I'm not the only one who thinks that.)so I would take the safe way and nothing else.

Safe > Speedy.

Speedy people usually can lose some good stuff, but Safe people can't.

I use speedy, but I am safe about it.

When I RuneCraft, I do it at night, and I also do it on uncrowded worlds (german servers)
Also I have a 1-hit tele (tele tab's crystal seeds)

Speedy, BC I can go thru the abyss w\o those F---ING NOOB pkers able to kill me bc if they teleblock me, I will have enough time to get to the mage guy, if they bind me, I can teleport (ectophial/tele tab)

Another reason I have chosen speedy is because, when I am making nature runes, I make about 43 per load = 8600 gp per load = 6 loads profit per glory = Easily recovered glory, and I can do 6 trips in about 10 minutes (not too sure, havent abyssed in a while)

I'd still go the safe way cuz the pkers just get in the way.
