Some of this is word for word of what has been posted on the forums. However I got a reply seven minutes after I sent and it is fairly detailed.

Probably because you actually asked a half-decent question instead of "Can I have free stuff" or something stupid like that.

Wow, at least he responded, with great detail. His reply makes sense, as of why they don't want users to use third party clients. I know I would sure be ticked off if someone was taking over/replacing my adverts.

Jason cant make his client without direct linking....

The only think i can think of him doing is just loading up runescape and you having to manually click the world...

Ive tried all possible ways of non direct linking, ild say there could be another way but he wont think of it..

He probably had a general response he modified slightly for each question...that is what I would do.

It was a pre-text. Andrew wrote that part. I think it's exactly the same as the sticky "Rule 7" in the Recent Update folder.

Wow, if only they would reply like that to my posts and not with the oh-so-common automated responce system. Thats a well-worded response. You must have worded your question just right to get his attention.
