...that pulling the lever in the party room causes a group of knights to dance on a table and sing a song similar to a scene in Monty Python and the Holy Grail (though you also have the option of dropping item filled balloons)?

...that many quotes from Monty Python's Flying Circus can be found by examining the citizens of Miscellania?

...that players walk west when firemaking, unless a barrier has blocked them? If a barrier exists west and east, players will then walk north!

...that players can tell Shantay that they're an outlaw to get teleported to the Port Sarim jail?

...that if players talk to Zandar in the Dark Wizards' Tower and refuse to leave, you'll be teleported to the Lumbridge Swamp?

... that once all curse-related words were once censored to "cabbage"?

... that if players wear a holy or unholy symbol and enter any team in Castle Wars they will be transformed into an imp (holy symbol in the Zamorak portal), sheep (Holy or unholy symbol in Guthix portal), or rabbit (unholy symbol through Sarodomin portal)?

... That if you keep stealing from the H.A.Ms in the H.A.M. dungeon west of Lumbridge they will throw you in jail, then eventually throw you out of the dungeon?

... That you can buy a useless/untradable but cool looking Yin and Yang amulet from the makeover mage near Falador?

... That when players use a tinderbox on any altar in the RuneScape World, they will receive the message "You fear the wrath of the gods."?

... That not only did Giles, Niles and Miles once turn fish, ore and bars into stackable certs (similar to notes) in Draynor Village on Runescape Classic, but they are named after three of the characters in Kevin Crossley-Holland's King Arthur Trilogy, of which The Seeing Stone won a Bronze Nestlé Smarties Book Prize in 2000.

... That Jagex first implemented a fatigue system to Runescape Classic to combat macroers/botters; that required players to sleep in beds (and woke up by typing a random word) after doing anything physical such as mining or woodcutting. After getting many complaints, Jagex added in a sleeping bag item, that could be used anywhere. This entire system was later removed completely, along with sleeping bags.

Very interesting facts that you may have not known.

Pretty random facts. How did you find all those?

I don't get how not bringing sacks into Zanaris marketplace is a security thing...

Those were interesting! Another would be that a lot of the NPC's in Burthrope are named after characters from Beowulf.

...that the barrows brothers are derived from spirits in Lord of the Rings.

Here's a couple to add to the list:

If you talk to Shanty in the Shanty Pass, ask about the pass, and say you're a bandit, then get thrown into jail and refuse to pay, you get a free teleport to Port Sarim.

Some of the knight's names, like Sir Renitee, are puns (Serenity).

Runite was actually a suggestion by a player, and was purple in the description he and the rest of the players wanted. Go figure, they were mostly girls. Jagex decided that they didn't want to truly follow it and make a hippy best-armor, so they brought it out with the more colorful cyanic color for runite instead.

All and all, that's interesting stuff.

Very nice...and yet very sad that people actually put this much time into knowing the workings of Runescape.
