Next skill?

What do you think is gonna b the next skill. post your opinions here.

I think the next skill is going to be like taming, where u could like tame chickens at first, and they could be put in inventory and bank, and can follow, and all the way to cows then goblins then etc...to black dragons then king black dragon then kalphite queen. lol it would be funny though a kalphite queen following u everywhere...

other one i think would be necromancy, where at first you could raies like a bone or soemthing, to like a leg, thena whole skeleton, all the way up to like greater demons or something.

i think it will be like...

FLYING

like you can go to an arena and then u will start with a broom or something then work your way up to unicorns then dragons and stuff that would be so cool

That might be a helpful skill for many in the game.

But seriously I don't think we will see a new skill for a while...probably if there is one it will be big...I think dark magic would be reasonable (although the different magic from quests sort of negates it). I think though more than likely we will see a revamp of the game (possibly RS 3) with in two years. So there may be no need for new skills.

I think a new Combat skill will come out next. I am not sure what it will be, but it has been so long since they did a combat update.

I'm gonna sound redundant saying this but, where'll Jagex squeeze in the total levels? You know there's no space for a scrollbar at all.

So obviously next (if any) is summoning, which is most probably the 4th spellbook.

Ok, it took how long for Jagex to derive Runescape 2 from Runescape classic? Nearly 2 years. That was before all those new quests and such.

Now, how long will it take to derive Runescape 2, as advanced as it is, into an even MORE advanced game; add the new skills and quests, land space, characters, artwork, etc?

As for the skill, I just hope it's shape shifting.

Knowing Jagex, they would separate the combat skills from the optional skills in a new tool bar, lest it be the weapon one or a new one altogether. It's what they did with combat level.

First of all Jagex isn't the same company they were when they made RS 2. The probably are two or three times that size...at least. Why would they want new games to steal market share. You know they can't possibly keep RS 2 that refreshing update after update. It is growing old...fast (to be honest all games "decay" as marginal utility decreases)! Jagex is now a very wealthy company with 302 employees and revenues in the tens of millions. They could easily whip out a very much improved RS 3 in under a year. The key for them is to stay competitive. That means they have to keep new members coming in to replace those leaving. Plus they have to keep their non member base up as well because that is where they make the money from advertisements and also where they get new members. That facts being as the may, Jagex will in my opinion come out with a new RS in the next three years. Runescape classic only lasted two years and it has been two years since RS 2 came out.
