Updates like pure essence among other things are clearly attempts to slow down how many nature runes are made. But even with these updates, RC still remains one of the dominant skills for money making, yet for some reason people love to complain that the skill is ruined.
Of all things to bring up, this update hardly will curve the amount of natures made. At most, it makes it slightly more dangerous to abyssal craft [because there's a greater chance of losing your pouches], which would slow down some people.
Honestly, you're still going to be making the same amount of nats per hour. If you get pked, go get your pouches back and learn to RC without getting PKed. If you die with a skull, you're supposed to lose all your items anyway, dropping your pouches is just a loophole, technically, so if this slows that down, I don't mind.
This is a minor update and won't drastically affect anything which is why I figured that even a thread made about it is over-reaction. At most, sending a complain to Jagex would suffice, anything else is excessive.
Anyway, there's always threads in the rants forum about every update no matter what the update is always. For some reason people like to say Jagex only makes updates that hurt the game and use phrases like 'if it's not broken, don't fix it'.
Most people refuse to give new things a chance. A lot of people just like to complain at change in general. They refuse to try out new systems or even to wait and see how new systems will truly affect them. Can anyone explain to me how so many people are ranting about Hunting? It's not even released yet. We know nothing about it. What the hell are all these people complaining about?
I just don't get it. Jagex can never please everyone. Sometimes it seems that a lot of you would just like this game to never be updated.
Don't get me wrong I love waiting to see the new updates each and every week, and I never said that this caused you to make less Nats or make less money. Pure Essence though does make you lose more money if you buy your essence, because a lot of people don't sell it and when they do it's for 110gp each when it used to be around 50gp each. And losing pouches is a big deal, because if you lose all 4 it can take up to 2 hours to get them back which is a loss of 2,000 Nats or 600k.
