Runescape or RuneScape?

Allot people call RuneScape, Runescape. I am not talking about pronouncing it but how its spelled. It's correctly spell RuneScape.

Don't believe me? Go to http://www.runescape.com/ and look at the top of your screen. It should say RuneScape - the massive online adventure game by Jagex Ltd. Also, if you look all over the site it says RuneScape.

It just fustrates me on why its spelled wrong. In fact this site is spelled wrong. I am not ranting about the site itself but the spelling error.

Hmm, suppose the fact that people say 'Runescape' and not 'RuneScape' is because you can't double-capitalize in the same sentence in-game. Other places, like on forums, it's just easier to say 'Runescape'.. But I would have to question weather or not it even matters. :-k

I don't think it's that big of a deal...words in English usually don't have two letter capitalized in the same word, and if there are, it's usually seperated with an ', like O'Conner or Mc'blahblah. There are words that do have two capitalized letters without an ' though, so I'm not saying that's for all the words in English.

Also, say Jagex allowed you to double capitalize letters in a word. How many people honestly would type with the correct caps anyway? How many people in Runescape would even type with the proper capitalization and punctuation? Not many. Too many people would ignore it and say Runescape or runescape anyway.

I always spell it RuneScape.

If they allowed you capitalize letters I would try to write with proper c4p174lizx4ti0n, 5p3llin, and jr4mm3r which I do anyway. Chat speak annoys me sometimes when you don't understand anything the persons saying.

In the game you have a reason not to.

My point is people should call RuneScape, RuneScape. And I'm not saying we need to change the forums, it just could use some... remaking. :wink:

When was the last time you checked spelling and grammer in the "Location" section of your user (see the left side of your post) :lol:

I call it Gielinor to my friends, and RuneScape on boards, so what the heck?

One of my freinds calls RuneScape "RS".... He's weird, and really obsessed with it.
But whatever, it doesn't affect those who do call it RuneScape, and as for those who don't... KILL THEM!!1 :twisted:
