Why get a 99 quickly when you can enjoy the skill for a longer time and make a lot of money in the process?

Upon finishing the Big Chompy Bird Hunt quest, you are given the ability to use your bow and continue hunting chompy birds for a large and easy supply of feathers, good ranged experience, and a tally of how many chompies you have killed. Jubblies are simply larger chompies that give meat that heal more. In order to catch chompies, they must first be lured by inflating toads with swamp gas and placing them around the swamp area. Usually a fair load of toads yields you 3 or 4 chompies. Learn to multi-task it, and you'll be hunting them like wildfire.

Chompies have 10 health each, and jubblies about 40. Upon plucking the chompy, you get about 25 or so feathers, a meat that weighs 10 or so kilos, and heals 10 health. Jubblies, I think, heals 15.

Anyways, when you reach a certain number of kills, you are given a special hat to acknowledge that in front of everyone. The mroe kills you get, the more feathers each hat gets. The highest rank hat is at 4000 chompy kills, and it's a golden 5-feather hat. Very rare to see one nowadays.

Hope that answers your question, xohyax.

To answer Mc_Icee, I have about 150 kills.

For the record, my brother Karl 67 has more then 1000 kills.

I guess its not that bad. I think it would get pretty boring after a while. If you ever do actually kill them all then you'll have yourself a pretty nice trophy. In my opinion it's a waste of time.
