Should their be Mic's in runescape?

Would you like a system wear you could use mics to talk to people in-game on your friends list or something? I personally talk to alot of people on rs on various programs while playing and let me tell you, its 100x less boring when your doing long repetetive tasks.

Very true, their is so many little kids these days >.> but we could have like a voting system for it and you can set up clan chats or friend chats on mic, never a public chat cuz that would be chaotic.

I think it would be cool for friends to friends on it, also it would be awsome for pking ( clans )

btw if you haev a clan and suffer from this problem just download Skype.

Lol i play a ps2 game called socom 2, we can have 16 ppl in a room at once with NO lag to our comps (cuz its on ps2) it works great.

Just get Ventrilo or TeamSpeak, Jagex would never do this for many reasons, one being they might not even be able to

Its a Java based game, I think its not even in the programming boundaries for them to be able to do that. Plus why would you want to use a Runescape mic chat when you can use something better like Skype, TS or Vent?

Hmm. All technical things aside, it'd be cool if it was possible. My reason for saying this would be that you wouldn't hear people talk in chatspeak

I use teamspeak on all games that dont support mic such as ms flight simulator, Warrock and bunch of others but it woulf be cool if jagex added mic speak...

Lets simulate that.
First lets go to World 2 Seers. Upon arivale to the bank your ears would bleed and you couldn't hear anyone talking! Not only would this make you deaf but it would also it would make it so you couldn't hear anyone talk try to sell something. Runescape would fall due to this update so I'll have to disagree.

Thats why i said... no public chat mic's only for friends or private groups... and i heard teamspeak and ventrillo costs money to run a server

and skype laggs my comp super bad when im playing RS, oh well

i doubt this a lot...if you want to talk with people online then just use skype, it would be a lot better than getting a whole talk thing on runescape...and it might lag the servers if too many people talk at once. it's a possibility, but it probably won't happen.

I dont think it would work.
however alot of clans use ventrillo/teamspeak when pking etc.
