Max ammount of money

Apparently there is a max ammount of money you can have.

Looks fake to me, his private chat is on, he's clearly on world 2 and yo can clearly see people talking in the background, yet it doesn't show up in his chat.

If there was a max I would have thought it would have been like 2000M then you start another stack since the max skill exp is 200M.

2000 million or 2 billion is the max. J Mods have answered this on Official Forums a couple times...

So the max total is 4 billion: 2 billion in the bank and 2 billion on your character...seems kind of cheesy they would limit it at that. I mean really it should be 999,999,999. That would be the coad limit....weird.

Don't think so. I think it's just 2b, once you hit that, you can pick up anymore coins. So you could have 1000m in bank and 1000m in inventory.

And although 2000m is a weird number, why would they cap exp at 200m? Cuz Jagex are stupid

They like weird numbers.

The reason they have caps is because if someone were to ever get a bug or something that allowed them to get money, it wouldn't just keep going, you know what I mean?

I suppose but this late in the games life...there shouldn't be any bugs like that.

From what I heard the stacks just melt into each other and you dont get any more added to the original one.

4b = 4000m

I wonder if it will get to the point where Discontinued's exceed the gp limit in price? You would have to pay in items or something (bit by bit would be to risky)
