When will it end?

When do you guys think if ever RuneScape will come to an end and they stop making updates and they game will gradually stop being played?

I wouldn't care. I quitted RS a couple of weeks ago and also I am starting to play World Of Warcraft.

Unless they get hacked, or like 500k ppl get 99 in all skills, or the era of macroing will come rs will not be played
i estimate around 5years of existance, hope for like 20years

(imagine, virtual reality =) )

i dont think it will end, more ppl are playing these days, for every one that quits 4 leave tut island.

It has to eventually end because the people who work on it have to move on sometime.

Well, one day he'll die. lol.

I think a better game will eventually come out. WoW has taken lots of players. Better games will keeo coming, so unless Jagex make huge changes (graphics, interfaces, other...stuff), it will eventually get replaced

Runescape 2 Might........but well on Runescape 3 will get out!!

Jagex is a company (Net worthing at well over 80m dollars)
A Company doesn't just say OK, people stop coming we fire everyone, No no no, They will adapt to new technologies and make runescape 3, where you will possible need to download it and it will have better graphics and better everything, Nothing dies ( At least nothing the magnitude of runescape (5,6+ Million Active users)

Its like saying, OK when do you think Windows will die? Well its not going to, There will all ways be a new thing, A New company might come up and beat them, But they will not just quit windows........

Just think about what i am saying, Lets say you got a company (300+ Workers), That's not a small business that start to be considered a medium size company, Now Are you (as the owner), Gonna say OK today we end runescape, Everyone is fired??? No!. They will adapt to a new better technology and continue.

Not anytime soon. The number of members and players just seem to be going up and up, so i doubt it's gonna suddenly crash anytime soon.
