First and formost is what you should wear. Id suggest equiping boots of lightness and a rune ax. Anything else is not needed and just increses your weight.

Now, decide what team you want to be on. If you dont really care, just "Join Team" with Honest Jimmy. He will place you in a random team.If you want to choose your team, talk to one of the two still owners. These are the team owners and what hat you will be wearing when you enter their team.

-=- Red Team

Next. Decide what part you will play in your team.

-=-Repairman: Repairs all broken items and lights burners/makes more repair resourses/pumps the sir pump (the Repairman should not run if they are running the air pump). if you need logs, get them from the log stockpile.
-=-Water/logs: Collect water from the pump or waterhole on the center isle till you have 200-350 stockpiled in the hopper. Then you can collect logs and place them in the stockpile. Untill then, the Repairman and other team mates will get Logs from the Log Stockpile.
-=-Flowers/Bitternuts: Grab torch and tinderbox from worktable, then run to the flowers. Pick 5, then torch the other teams still, NOT BRIDGE. Run back when torch is out and grab 5 bowls. Make 5 colored water, and put 3 (yes 3) in the hopper. Run to center isle and grab 2 monkies, color them, then get 2 nuts. Run and get 5 flowers again, torch if you want, then run and make the 5 colored water again. Place the 2 nuts, and 3 more colored water in the hoppers, and repeat till the game is over.
-=-Grubs/Bark: Grab 3 - 10 meat from the stockpile and a knife. Then run and start collecting the grubs. When the Grubhills run out (normally after you collect 3 from it) start cutting the bark trees. When inventory is full, run and cut the bark at the same time and store your resourses in the hoppers.

-=- A Big Team
When you have a lot of team mates, then the tasks above can be broken up to individuals, allowing each person to help out even more.

-=- Brewing Guide
Located in the game waiting rooms and in the still buildings are books that can instruct anyone on the art of rum brewing. If you need a little help or are a newcommer, Read this book and it should tell you what you need to know.

-=- The Rums Done!
Image
When your team makes a bottle of rum, the Rum Icon on the upper righthand of the screen will flash green. That means that you can score for your team. If it dosent flash, but the rum is done anyways, it means that you are not helping enough! If it turns into a red color and dosent flash green anymore, it means that your team have broken a bottle and are getting lazy, so Get Back to Work and Stay Alert!

-=- The Tooltable
Image
This is the tooltable. This is where you collect all needed suplies (except Logs) that you will use in the minigame. All Repair Items, though, will be stocked to 10 instead of 0. Only Repair Items will run out of stock.

-=- The Parrots
The parrots are just in the game to tell you when you need more ingredients, repairs to the still, or that the rum os done. Here are their pics:
Red Parrot:ImageBlue Parrot:Image

-=- Leaving the Game
Image
If you turn yellowbellied and want to leave the game for any reason, don't worry, you wont have to walk the plank. Just look for the portals near your still and enter it. It will take you back to the waiting rooms.

-=- Collecting the resourses
To get your Still running, you have to supply it! There are 6 things that are needed to run it, Logs, Water, Colored water, Scrappy bark, Sweetgrubs, and Bitternuts. When you collect the resourses, take them to the Hoppers on the second story of the Still. Here are the resourse drop-off points and how to get them:
-=-Water
Image Place all buckets of water in the hopper next to this picture. To get, just get buckets from the tooltable, then use them on the pump or the waterhole on the center isle.
-=-Colored Water
ImagePlace all bowels of colored water in the hopper next to this picture (unless your useing them to color monkies to get bitternuts). To get, Run over to the enemies still and pick 5 flowers of your team color. Then run back to your still and grab 5 bowels. Head behind the conveyor belt and there is a Kettle. Use the flowers on the Kettle, then use the bowels on it.
-=-Scrappybark
ImagePlace all bark into the hopper next to this picture. To get, just grab an ax from the tooltable (unless you have equiped your own already) and a knife. Then head East or West of the still, look for an oddly shaped tree named "Scrappy tree". cut a full load of Scrappy tree logs and use the knife on them.-=-NOTE: You can become diseased from cutting Scrappy tree logs and cutting the Logs with a knife!-=- After all the logs have ben cut into bark, just place them into the hopper.
-=-Sweetgrubs
ImagePlace all sweetgrubs into the hopper next to this picture. To get, collect a load of raw rat meat from the tool table and head out of the still. Look for a Sweetgrub Mound, located in the trees near the stills and on the two side islands. Use the Meat on the mound and you will either grab some grubs or scare up a sweetfly swarm. You must run from the swarm, however, and wait for it to disappear before you can collect more grubs from the mound. When the mound changes into a cressent chaped mound, that means the mound is out of grubs for the time being. It will re-load in about 30 seconds.
-=-Bitternuts
ImagePlace all Bitternuts into the hopper next to this picture. To get, collect at least 2 bowls of colored water (see -=-Colored water to see how) and head to the center island. When there, capture 2 monkies and use the colored water on both of them. Next, head on over to one of the 3 Bitternut trees, one on each of the three isles, and use the colored monkey on the tree. The monkey will climb up the tree and search a bit for a nut. If another monkey is already up tehre or if one of the other team is sent up after it, the Monkies will begin to fight. If you have an ammulet of Monkeyspeak (from Ape Atoll, Monkey Madness quest) you can instruct your monkey on how to fight. If your monkey loses, he will run off and you will have to try again. If not, and your monkey wins, then he will throw down a nut and head off. You can only carry 2 Bitternuts at a time, so I'd suggest collecting colored water at the same time. You can also carry extra Colored water incase your monkey loses a fight and you want to try again.
-=-Logs
ImagePlace all Logs (not Scrappy tree logs) into this stockpile place located on the first floor. These Logs will be used to fuel the Boilers and to make replacement parts. -=-Important-=- Not collecting Logs is a sure way to lose a game! Not having Logs means you cannot make replacement parts and re-stock the Boilers when you need to. Plan ahead for the unsuspected.

-=-Makeing the rum
Number 1 rule: DONT LIGHT THE BOILERS TILL YOU HAVE THE RESOURSES TO DO SO! This is Very important. If you light them too early, the Boilers will start takeing resourses to make rum, even if you do not have enough to make 1! This will slow down production and also use up resourses before they are even usefull. If you have enough resourse collectors, then normally the Repairman can light them after 5 min of game time. you want at least 6 bitternuts, 25 water, 18 colored water, 10 grub, and 18 bark. Trust me, it will help in the long run.
Also, if anyone is re-entering the building, check and see if you can see the rum, you dont want to miss 1 and not gain a point.

-=-Burning the bridge
Only burn the bridge after at least 10 minits of game time, It allows you to collect enough flowers for alot of colored water. When torching the bridge, start at their end of it and work your way back to the center isle. If you can manage to torch the entire bridge, You can almost Garantee that it will not be repaired anytime soon. Id say it will remain broken for at least 4 minits minimum. Depending on how good they repair, it might not be repaired at all.

-=-Burning down the house

If your going to do a little pyrotechnics with the other teams rum stills, heres a few tips:

Dont light your torch till you are right next to what you are going to burn.

extinguish your torch if you are moving to another location.

Only burn bridges when you have enough resorses to make rum for a while. This lets your team take the long way round without their flower collectors having to rush all the time.

Tree burning should only be done if you have over 13 people on your team cause it is a nearly useless use of a torch. If your trees are on fire, just use a bucket of water on them.

Burning pipes is a quick way to put back the other teams rum production, but it is not the best. if you have 2 or 3 extra people, then send them all over to torch as many pipes as they can

Burning hoppers is the best way to slow your enemy down, sence it takes up to 3 lumber patches to fix just 1 of them. Also some time the repair man will not notice they are damaged and will not fix them until informed of their state.

-=- A good team
A good team cosists of at least 1 Repairman, 2 Water/Log collectors, 2 Grub/Bark collectors, 3 Colored water/bittirnut collectors, and anyone else can fill up the gaps.

-=- Colored water rule
Stealing other peoples colored water IS NOT HELPFUL! It is only slowing everyone else down. If you are playing just to get the Pieces Of Eight, then cut bark. Its fast and you dont get in anyones way. If Runescape ever makes a bonus for your team if you win, then Id suggest forgeting the bark plan and just try to help your team out. Till then, Stay out of our way.

-=- Pirate Items
Now, onto the stuff you can buy! Naval Uniformsare the new Pirate fashion on Mos Le'Harmless and they must be bought with Pieces of EightImage.
But buying them can be time consumeing. Here are the prices and colors avaliabe of clothes and other gear. All prises are only when the shop is fully stocked on those items.
Image
-=-All navel shirts cost 1000 Pieces of Eight.
-=-All navel pants cost 1000 Pieces of Eight.
-=-All navel tricorn hats cost 500 Pieces of Eight.
-=-Cutthroat flag costs 2000 Pieces of Eight.
-=-Guilded Smile flag costs 2000 Pieces of Eight.
-=-Bronze Fist flag costs 3000 Pieces of Eight.
-=-Lucky Shot flag costs 4000 Pieces of Eight.
-=-Treasure flag costs 5000 Pieces of Eight.
-=-Phasmatys flag costs 6000 Pieces of Eight.
-=-"The Stuff" costs 50 Pieces of Eight.
Important!! You cannot (as of yet) sell back anything you buy at Honest Jimmy's shop! Pick what you want to buy CAREFULLY.

I hope this guide is usefull for all you Land lubbers' out there. Now get out there and earn your plunder. If there is anything else that you need help with or do not understand, PM me here or message me in-game. I will try my best to clear up the confusion. If you want to add something, just post it.

Actually, its fairly easy. And even if you lose, you get the exp and Pieces of Eight. All winning does is allow for braging rights. If you try it out, youll see that its not too hard.

Thanks both of you. Its good cause I decided to make it based on experience of playing the game, not off of what Runescape says. Plus the pics are a nice bonus. Thanks for your support :) .

Do we have to do a quest to get in Mos Le' Harmless? I've been told you have to do rum deal but I've been told you don't...

You need to be able to get into Port Phastmas and then you need to do (I think) Cabin Fever and Rum Deal quests.

Thanks for the map, It makes the guide a lot easier to understand. And Thanks for the Credit for the Guide on the map :D ! But theres a line missing on the right side, on the stepping stones. There should be one going to the small isle on the right.

Is there a "best world" to play this game on, or is each world equally full?
