Do u reckon the next level should be for non members?

Ive been a non member for the whole time ive played runescape. i will probably never be a member but the thing i am sick of is that all the new levels that come out is members. i reckon members have alot of stuff that is worth their money. post back to share what u think

Kind of agree with you that members shpould have ALOT more stuff than f2p... but still i would say that it would make more ppl start runescape again and maybe in that sense bring more members if f2p got a COOL new skill or something like that... not something boring like woodcutting or something like that... i would say something thats good money but costs alot... kind of like construction but not that big... also i think jagex should add more f2p worlds somewhere close by finland (not just because i live there...) but also because finnish ppl have been asking for a new finnish world for many years and still other countries get servers... why not finland? just because we only got 5mil population??

It's as simple as, we pay, we get stuff, you don't pay you don't. Jagex will never put out any f2p updates, your lucky you can play even part of the game without playing. So if you want the new stuff, pay for it.

F2P version is like demo version which you can play forever to get know to the game so you would know what does it feel like. I agree with Brad we pay for updates, there would be no poing of memebrs than.

Next skill for F2P: Stop asking for updates. If everyone gets 99 you will get an update... which wont happen. Want some good updates? Pay the small fee.

No. There never will. You want a new skill? Good. Become a member. Realise that Jagex is a company like any other and they need to make a PROFIT. Therefore, they WANT you to want more stuff so you'll PAY them money.

And $5 a month... I can find that on the floor at school in 2 days. It's really not that much money.

I remember i saw a Jagex Mod said that F2P was a demo and there not interested in adding any Major updates to it. That was 5 months ago though

But thats not avaible for my country... or then the phone bill is like 20 euros / minute

I believe that still holds true. The f2p version is a pretty much a demo version of the game. You get to start the game with the basic skills and get used to it, then when you feel comfortable or want more then what can be done in "the demo", then you switch to p2p, which is the full version of the game.

Okay, this doesn't really need a whole discussion topic, but:

Free-to-Play -- members are free to play without any charge.

Pay-to-Play -- members get weekly updates and more skills and areas.

Do you think Jagex would benefit if they updated Free-to-Play? No. More members would downgrade to free-to-play because they would realize there's no point in paying if they update the free-to-play. Henceforth if they did something like that, they would lose monthly incomes rather than gain.

And in businesses, that's not something you want.

here is my stand point on it from seeing other games like this. If you want to attract new ppl you have to put new stuff out there. The f2p ppl who might not be able to pay cause underage or for wtv reasons will quit. This makes there less people to become member. If people play f2p and first off see its boring they will quit. I know quite a few ppl who did this, whoes parents would not pay for the membership, and they quit. I think they should at least put something out once a year or something...even if its just like some new items

We dont pay. We dont deserve another level. We dont deserve another quest. We dont deserve any more items or anything. We all want them, sure, but we dont pay anything, members do. Accept that.

Ive never been a member, and it takes a while to get used to it, but you have to. Jagex dont care about f2p, because we dont pay.

Get used to it.
