Your Username - Your Real Identity?

Does your username represent the type of person you are?

I was thinking of this in a post by a newbie when people started saying they liked someone just by their name. Its like judging a book by its cover. But sometimes I think your username can reflect your own personality: at the end of the day its you who chose it! For example if I stumbled across a "PKingWarrior5823" I'd beware but if it was a "ButterflyGirl12075" I might be more friendly or maybe just think they were a wimp.

I think my name's kind of mysterious. For a start its neither masculine or feminine but I suppose the 'Misty' is kinda girly. I think it suggests that I like the outdoors and nature, which I do. Plus it has no numbers or anything on the end suggesting that I'm unique and abnormal!

So what do you think other people think when they see you name?

My rs name (eragonrider0) was supposed to be EragonDragonRider0 but it didnt fit so it was only eragonrider0 so now some perverted ppl think that my name means that I "ride" that person, if you know what I mean. It gets on my nerves a lot. I got my name from a book a read called Eragon. It just shows Im like books. Anybody whos read the book then reads my name knows I like it. It also shows I like fantasy and non fictional stuff in general and that Im a guy. I guess ppl just treat me normal cuz my name isnt really intimidating or really wimpy either.

my rs name is my real life name, i don't know what possesed me to use it, but know i regret it, the endless line of idiots calling me 'bradwood' is just too much to bear, if/when jagex release a system to change your rs name i'll change it.

My name shows what i like. Penguins are the best and people follow me and say "yeah penguins are awesome" although there is this guy who finds me and says "hey, icebucket!" which kind of scares me

My username is pretty much my name..
and Brad I am pretty sure that they will never come out with a name changer because it would be too easy for scammers and hackers to well hack and change their names so they wouldn;t get reported..

Ok it all started back when 1 and half year ago. My brother wanted to have that acount named by him, so I named it Ilya and the year he was born which is 1998. He didn't want to play it,because he is a kid and gets bored of RPGs mad fast so I started playing on that acount and didn't feel like creating a new one.

When people see my name, I think they think that I'm kinda a wildy person. I'm not. I'm not a bad pker but I don't spend my time doing it.

My name was created because I thought this game was based purly on killing, and 17 is my favourite number...

I don't know what people think, because I don't have people ask about my name, rather, they ask about my crown.

In my own imaginary world, I am a thief.

Now you may just think thieves are just people who steal things, but you're wrong. There is more skill to a thief than what you think. Let's see you pick locks, move without detection, and be able to track down treasures using such limited sources.

In my own story of a world, a thief is named by his number. The legend goes that one thief of something called the Thieves Guild named '121212' was the greatest thief of all times. He passed his powers and abilitys on into something named "gem of thieves", a gem of incredulous power which gives the user the abilities 121212 once had. A thief named 18954 generations later found this legendary hidden gem, and became one of the most wanted thieves in the Imperial City.

Hope that's enough of an explanation.

anyways my name is "sneak" and i got it by my xbox one time while i was playing halo 1....we were setting up our first lan party and it said my xbox's name was "sneak" so from then on....i've used the name sneak

No, my username doesn't represent me. Sometimes I regret using this name. Other times, you'll be thankful you're not using your real name.

Xhopesxfallx.

Err, my favorite band is Hopesfall, and back when I started Runescape, I had this HUGE obsession with everything about them.
The X's were added because... I don't know, I guess I like the letter x.

The annoying part is, people asking me the following questions:
"Are you emo?"
"Do you cut yourself?"

And I've actually gotten these ones alot:
"Hey dude. Hopesfall is awesome!"
"You're an awesome band." (I'm a band? Wow...)

For my pure, Rawr Err0r... I was bored, I started to write "Error" everywhere I went, and ended up changing the 'o' to an '0'.
I started talking to my friend and she "Rawred" at me and she just decided that Rawr Err0r would be a nice name.

Apparently a few people like it, haven't met anyone who has flamed it yet, and I have a fan club of Err0r's made by friends.
