Why Do Alot Of People Hate Jagex So Much??

Yea, this just crossed my mind as i was in the fishing guild, and about 4-5 people where talking about how rubbish all the recent updates have been and how Jagex is full of overpaid staff who do nothing and how the game is so bad and one even said "unplayable" If they disliked it that much, surely they would just quit? I don't understand people who say the game is rubbish and bad yet they still play it...? Any thoughts on this?

Those kinds of people need to realise that Jagex makes updates for everyone, not just them. They also need to think about what they really want. They can say "omg, I wish jagex would make lv99 fletching need 10exp to get to", but they dont really mean it. Well, some do, but they're lazy and quit after a few days.

I admit I bad-mouth Jagex a lot, but not the game. The way jagex runs itself isnt terrible, but it is quite bad. After doing business Studies for two years I found that the most important thing (or what should be) to a business is what the customers think of the company. Unfortunately for Jagex, the majority of its customers are 12yr old children who dont know much about life at all. Because of that fact, I reckon Jagex has chosen, not to ignore but "push aside" most of the things people say about them.

Customer Support, one of my favourite thigns to Rant about, it isnt really support unless you show up at Jagex's front door. heh.

The game itself is doing quite well considering the amount of stress that the owners of Jagex must go through. It's like providing entertainment for over 1 million school children who each want different things. They cant always get it right.

Why Do Alot of People Hate Jagex So Much?

Agreed, there are alot of people who badmouth Jagex or point out all of their mistakes, but I believe that the vast majority of Runescapers are satisfied with Jagex, myself included. I disagree with some of the things they have done, but overall they do a fantastic job of catering entertainment to over a million people.

The reason why it seems that "alot" people "hate" Jagex is because any time someone gets their little feelings hurt, they create some forum in order to rant about what happened and try to get people on their side of the argument. However, those of us who are satisfied with jagex do not post threads praising Jagex for all the great work they have done. No, we just take it for granted if we are satisfied.

You must realize just how much effort Jagex puts into keeping Runescapers, especially members, content and entertained with the game. They bring us several updates each month to create more and better things for us to do in game, they constantly enforce the rules through hand chosen player mods (yea, some of which do not deserve their position, but, oh well...), and listen to customer input in order to directly target the changes that we want made to the game. Seriously, I think Jagex deserves some credit.

i dont hate jagex but i think that alot of the recent updates have been abit poo quite frankly and then some have been ace that probably why alot of people hate jagex, the others are most probly rangers complaing they cant do anything.

Hating Jagex is a trend too. If you're fishing with some of your friends (and you're 12 years old, so you can't even form your own opinions correctly), and they're talking about Jagex being so awful, some people really haven't enough spine to think for themselves.

Personally, I don't like the way Jagex runs the game, but you get what you pay for. Even though I wouldn't mind better and thorough replies from them...

they hate them because they visit tip.it and get a whole different view of jagex.the tipit'ers whine,and complain.well if you wouldn't hack and scam, you wouldn't get banned!

It's ironic that they still play a game made by people they hate.
