Blood runecrafting discussion

I personaly think that blood runecrafting wont have much effect on the economy. I personaly have 74 runecrafting(almost 75) so i think i know the market for runes. In my opinion there are not enough people who would make bloods for the market to be flooded

Pros of blood runecrafting:
Highest experiance per essence
Blood runes are expensive[/

Cons
Requires an incredibly high runecrafting level (only around 1000 people have it)
Requires you to go through the abbys were there are usualy pkers waiting outside (more pkers will come if blood runecrafting is really profitable)
Knowing Jagex it will atleast require a quest maybe more
No real possibility of hiring runners[/

Division of how many people would make bloods
Lets start with 1000 people, thats around how many people have 77 rc
180 have 91 runecrafting and will probably just stick to 2x nats with runners
50 accounts probably are inactive and havent been erased yet
150+ people will be to lazy to do the quest
20 will probably not be active runecrafters any more and just make when they need
50 will just runecraft for themselves
50 will be dettered by the abbys/pkers

so by my estimations only 500 people would even consider making bloods, many more bloods are being brought into the economy via barrows/owning massive amounts of bloodvelds.

IMO if bloods are an ok walk/run for runners it could just end up like world 66 law runners.

bloods are most expensive and will be great xp for the people that are on there way to lvl 91 so they can make double natures.

the exp you get from making runes is lame anyway they need to bring in bloods/souls soon for the fact that alot of people are getting higher rc lvls because of the introduction of world 66 law factory and abyss...

and i know that im heading to lvl 75+ rc atm i got 120k essence in my bank and is my main goal that im working on atm..sooo

im a bit of an internet noob, what does IMO stand for? and buddy, 52 runecrafting is like a year away from 75+ not to mention that bloods req 77

53 and soon soon as i get 54 its gonna go preety fast average 20k a hour xp 3-4 hours a day it wont take long at all. put it this way i got alot of time till bloods are actually released

Well, I don't really use or sell bloods that often because I only get them from my barrows drops. But, if they do make them craftble I doubt the price will change much either way. Runecrafting is definitely not among the most popular skills, and since they would require sich a high runecrafting level to make, I come to my decision. When Jagex introdiced Death rune crafting, I didn't notice a change in prices. The same might happen for bloods.

i hope it lowers the price of bloods, but that will also mean people getting higher magic, i think blood crafting will come out with summoning maybey summoning uses like 10+ bloods a spell :idea:

Noty many people are going to have the runescraft level, so I would say no.

It's about time, i use alot of bloods and spend alot of money on bloods to use ice barrage which by the way is a sweet strong spell. When is soul rc coming?

I think the price will most likely stay the same or drop by a small amount, death crafting hasn't had much influence on the price of deaths.

I don't care about affect of price cause i never buy them anyway and i'll just make them myself, should have the level by then.

tbh, I dont see why soul rcing is so anticipated, they arent the most popular of runes, and arent used for that many spells. Most of which arent used much.
