Reports abuse...

It is good to that Jagex made a report button so players can report stuff.

But watch out with what you are doing! I am a miner combat 63... That is not much, but it is because i always mine or merchant. Anyways, if you see someone not with combat lvl3 and not combat lvl99 getting all the iron don't report him for macroing! I was so happy that I came in 85 mining yesterday. Today just 10minutes ago when I woke up, I got banned.

All Because of stupid people who abused the reportbutton cause they were to jealous and just report me for MACROING

I never really thought it mattered to just report someone for something if you were not sure if he really did it but now I know it and I want to say:
Never abuse the report button!
Please post posts that agree, because I just lost my account and I can unnapeal this over 3 fricken days, so if people start to say stuff like "it is your own fault" there is a prettty good change I am going to flame, and I don't really want to get banned from RSBANDB to so please have compassion for me

Keep whining to jagex. They ALWAYS give in. I've seen it happen every single time. And half the time those accused are the guilty ones!

I know what ya mean, I got accused and almost banned for multiple logging in..they thought me and rel were the same people =\ you will get unbanned

but actually the accused cant be guilty in this case of macroing, wouldnt they be away? or is that an autoer?

ok try not to flame me for this but sitting there mining, or any major gathering skill nowadays, and not being chatty with people around you, as well as being a lower level than most peeps does make you look a lil bit like a macro. so in the future, try talking to people around you more often, even if it's only hi, how you doing, what's your level, type of junk your still alot less likely to be suspected of it by other people, and therefore less likely to be reported for it by them.

and like i said in your achievement topic; gratz on the level and just be glad jagex didn't feel it was worth more than a temp ban.

Don't get so bummed over it. This happens alot. People who power mine usually get reported for macroing because they don't talk. Heck, I don't like talking to people either, it doesn't mean I should totally be silent. If you power mine again, try making some conversation next time. It'll make light of what people see.

Hmm thats strange, i could have sworn i've heard somewhere, you can get reported for things like, half killing, and preventing people from attacking fire giants and such.. Even a mod once warned me off it cuz i was killing 2 at once preventing others from doing it.. weird.. would figure that if someone was preventing others from getting any iron they should be warned or something.. Oh well.. Jagex is weird, sometimes they dont enforce their rules.. Especially with trade scams and such, switching mages to willows, guthans spear to leaf bladed spear..

Sorry to hear your banned, really, you didnt know it was false reporting, so really, not exactly your fault.

i hate people reporting you for stupid stuff, or these noobs that flames at you because you cant bring them to falador because your training. This is what happened, a lvl 3 came , iwas ranging in champ. guild, and he just wanted me to bring him to fally, i said no , then he started arguing and he reported me . Didnt get banned cos it was stupid

The reoprt abuse has never meant anything to me plainly it's because nothing ever happens. That's really an unlucky situation if u get yourself banned like that and what you should really do is go to an empty world in future.

I think there are a few times when I got reported and nothing ever happened during my time of playing runescape. However, I have gotten a few warnings that jagex has the right to do somthing about it in the future.

I turn my public chat to friends when I am mining ess because it seems to slow the lag, I am not sure if I get reported or not... I don't really care just as long as its not permanent I know that I didn't do anything wrong and I am happy with that.

Ya, it is bull**** how noobs abuse the report button. A noob reported me once because i was getting blue drags faster than him. I got a warning from jagex for macroing! I was so *****. Just becuz i am better than that noob at getting drags faster, he goes and reports me. I also blame jagex for not even looking at the report. Because if they would have looked at the 60 second snapshot, they would have seen that i was talking to the noob when he reported me, so there was no way i was macroing.
