Farming is NOT bad.

1. For all you low lvled farmers who hate farming, you might have to wait 30 minutes for your potaters to grow but since there are 3 locally acessed vegetation patches which means you can grow 3 potatoe patches in 30 minutes plus you can grow hops and flowers in the mean time! Plus you can make compost for extra boost of xp! If your too lazy to take some time and train farming thats your choice! Dont spam "Farming is bad because it is so stupid and takes so long to lvl"

2. Money money money from farming!

a. Herbs is a great source of money. Sell ranarrs, harralanders, etc.
b. LIMPS! Combine tarro with limps and get str potions. SELL THEM TO F2p!!
c. White berries and jangs are used for herblore poitons! You can either sell them or make use of them!

3. So you might not like the tree idea? So what? Dont go flaming around "Farming is bad because the tree idea is stupid and useless". It might not be so good but in the future, you never know, they can make it very useful and all you people who didn't train farming will have to start from the beginning. Like slayer, people now with high slayer lvls can get abby whips and even before that granite mauls! You cannot ever predict new skills!

4. Like i said in many posts against or with farming, I personally LOVE the idea that herbs do not need your care of watering. So you can do other things or log off and play other activities and still earn xp for herblore or earn money from the herbs! Superb idea jagex!

yeah i got to 45 within the first 2 weeks it came out then got really bored and stopped. I'm not saying that it's bad, in fact i think its great. Really helps for herb xp, and all you have to do is plant trees, then inspect them and u get tons of xp for that, then replant another tree.

The point is that who would wait 30 mintures to wait for 10 herbs when they can get 2 per minute from Chaos Druids?

more than 2 per minute from chaos druids ^^ before i quit i just used tree seeds, tears of guthix and genie lamps to raise my farming.

u dont have to stand there and watch them grow... i do farming in 3 patches and 2 hops... and every hour i check back and plant again.. in one day i got 25 farming... its a great skill! goutweed is great and i got so many rannars from that guy in tavelry... and rannars! i got 30 rannars in 1 hour of waiting! 30 rannars is like 150k... plus u can sell seeds that u dont need... my goal is only 50, so i sold all seeds that require 50+ farming and got 100k! from theiving lvls 51 to 55 in one day... i had over 3k seeds!

You don't understand how it works. You lay the herbs and do something else. Getting a ton of a perticuler herbs ON TOP of the ones you got off druids.

i think all skills in RS is great... farming to... you can do something else and do not wait with no point so its 2x xp
