I didn't realize Prayer and herblore was so expensive; or are you talking time and bother as apposed to money? Prayer takes time but I just bury every bone I can get (and usually those who leave theirs on the ground too) You can grind bones and use it on the ectofunctis unless you have a high end altar in your house - but use the higher bones on it. Chaos druids in the Edgville dungeon - in wilderness area - they drop lots of good herbs. If you don't want to keep all the low herbs - clean them before you drop them to at least get a little bit of XP. I can clean and make pots up to Avantoe - and I get clear up to Dwarf Weed which sells real well. Also remember that My Arm will watch over your disease-free herb patch. I usually stop to kill druids after I've been to one of the obelisks to charge orbs - Earth (or Air eventually). I have been known to kill a blue or black dragon going to the fire or water obelisk as well. Farming is tedious but you don't have to stand over it - farm in Catherby and fish too. Buy your seaweed and pineapples then pop over to Yanille for sand then back. Right now I put the freebies on Agility or Hunter - need those up quickly to finish several quests.

I generally use it on one of my lowest skills. Howver, I've lately been using them on whatever skill I'm training on at the moment.
