I worship Lord Saradomin, and that is spelled 'Saradomin'. He is the god of wisdom, after all, and what better way to portray it then by showing that you can at least spell his name.
But that's not the real reason I worship Saradomin. I worship him because he doesn't need us to.
Now, before you stare at that last sentence for hours on end trying to figure it out, Lord Saradomin, unlike Zamorak, does not desire power, but instead a peaceful existance between everyone. Seeing as religion sets us apart as Saradominists and Zamorakians, he would prefer that we keep the peace by not having to dedicate yourself to their needs. The conflict between Lord Saradomin and Zamorak are their own, and I see no reason why we on Runescape should become involved. Since Saradomin doesn't 'make' people worship him so they would abide to their doing, I feel that I would be able to do a lot mroe good in Runescape by following a god without any expectation to dedicate and enslave oneself to him.
It's not the coolness of the armor or anything, it's what they stand for and desire. If Saradomin wants me to be his slave and do his bidding, I might decide not to abide to him, for I don't want anything to do with the conflict of the gods. I'm just a regular person, after all ... except for the fact I have no physical form except an outer shell of adamantite armor, of course.
See how my logic goes? Saradomin, god of wisdom. Makes a lot more sense them proving a point by smashing a sword into one's skull over and over.
