I feel that the pray icons is just something we are going to have to get used to, which shouldn't be too much of a problem. I felt pretty much the exact same way when I unlocked curses because most of those look the same too, just takes getting used to. But they do look pretty neat. Not as pixelated.

people were complaining it was taking longer to kill monsters. i'm fighting mutated jadinkos and i kill them a lot faster than the combat system right now using the exact same weapons.

i usually charge in, use some basic attacks. usually when the monster is dead my adren is almost full and then i use some super attack on the next monster. i've hit harder with the new combat system than the old one now.


I have noticed that some of the abilities do not have a full effect if they are spammed by other abilities. For example: there are a few abilities that take 6 seconds to use such as flurry and frenzy, and if you are spamming the bar, and you use another ability in the middle of the 6 second one, it cancels the first one. This majorly decreases damage outputs. So its good to see that Jagex implemented a way to encourage ppl not to spam abilities.

I couldn't give the slightest toss if RS changes. I don't play it. All I've said is they've copied an out of date old system that other games are doing away with. Other games are doing away with it because it's a flawed system and people are bored with it. You think it encourages strategy and skill but it doesn't. Not really. It funnels you down a very narrow tunnel and forces you to use a very specific build to get the best DPS. As soon as players figure out the best build for dealing DPS everyone will copy it and use it.

Seen it in every MMO I've played that has that system in place. Can't even get into a group to run a dungeon wthout the right build you just get kicked out again.

Of course RS has the advanage in that it doesn't have any real decent form of party system or group content cause it's crap. But still for pvp and training you can bet your *** theres going to be specific builds and little else in the way of variety. And while I'm ******* on a system I've yet to even try I'll throw out another fac...er prediction: It wont be balanced in the slightest. Jagex has always sucked at getting the combat balance fair and even.
