fake jagex mods

Haha! I love it! A few years back I had a guy approach me by the name of like Andrewg123 or something. He started going on about my account was hacked and he needed my password. I messed around with him a bit and then reported him. I made some smartass remark about reporting him, and he got all upset like "Dude I'm really sorry. I was just joking around." Anyway a couple days later I actually got a message from Jagex thanking me for the report (i know, crazy right?!) and saying that they took care of the guy.

It was hilarious that he was all serious and he obviously had the worst intentions until I told him I reported him, then he started flipping out.

haha I had one that messaged me, his name was informer48 saying congratulations you have been selected to be a jagex player mod, just change ur pin and pass to....
made me laugh, i reported him but nothing happened.

Back when I first starting playing Runescape I had acouple of these PM and I still don't know how they got my name becuase they were on a different world. But honestly, you'd have to be a complete retard to fall for these. since they mispelled Jagex lol
