Annoying "Price Checkers"

You can't get a black mark from that. You didn't break a rule, so they wouldn't give you one. You're lying , or you did something else.

As to the price checkers, it only bothers me if they follow me and trade me a hundred times.

I'm not sure. I don't like them standing there in the middle of a bank spamming, "P C !" But of course I get to see what goodies they've collected . . .
I know! For everyone you give a price check to, you should be allowed the option of pickpocketing one item from their inventory! :twisted:

if I'm like at GWD killing birds and someone wants a P check then I will (as I whana see how much money I have made this trip to) but when I'm like standing in the GE or some bank is is VERY annoying!!

I find price checker extremely annoying. They want to trade with to do a price check despite what you're doing and even if you say no. I don't mind a quick check on one or two items. Most of the people who asks for price check that I've seen and check multiple items that takes up most of their inventory and that takes forever. I think people should leave price checks to one or two items. I just find it really annoying, especially since I'm in the bank fletching most of the time. If you're going to do a price check, keep it to a very small number of items as possible.

I can see where this is coming from, but it's going a different direction here.

Every time I decide to take my dragon armour out for a walk, I get ten noobs following me going "OMG PC UR AMOR PL0X." This is where it gets annoying, as they can't even use the items, which means they probably won't buy them in the near future, and it's just an excuse for them to follow me. They don't have a right to force me to trade with them, so I usually just ignore them and laugh at their illiteratacy, but it gets annoying day after day after day. I'd like to wear things for the way they look without being bothered so much, but that's another story.

I don't think the update is needed though. It doesn't take that long to either find someone to trade with or check it on the database. If noobs really need to check the price on an item and no one will trade them, they can just use the GE or look it up. If they don't know how to do that, they'll just have to figure it out.

Yeah I support especially when I was doing hunter ( hunting red chins ), a guy goes up to me and asked for price check. I was too busy doing the traps and I didn't say anything. He said if you don't, I'll report you for macroing...

I totally agree with you on this one. People always come up to me and ask for price checks. I usually just do it for them quick because i don't want them to bother me anymore. Having a right click option would be really nice, but why not just open another runescape window and go to the general exchange on the main page. I suppose most noobs do not know this, so having a right click option may be nice.

I vote "undecided" because I don't even see price checkers wherever I go, even if I'm at world 1. You may see them a lot, but I've only seen like 5 in the past 6 months, and only 1 was bugging me.

I think its only okay if they have a large quantity of DIFFERENT items to price check, or else it'll take them a long time.

I honestly hate these guys. About 90% of the time they are even at the GE. I then asked somebody at the GE why he wanted a price check and his response was "Because I am too lazy to calculate them myself"

This really bugs me and I think they all should just to it themself instead of wasting more time by wasting other people's time.

I saw 3 of the price checkers at varrock square, because it was before the GE came out. When the GE came out, I found 2 more over at the exchange.

I've only ever been asked for a price check at slayer monsters when someone's done a task or out of food, I don't see the problem as it's a minute max and generally they'll return the favour. Nice to see how much you've earned in a run.

Actually .. I don't mind checking up on the price of magic logs and random seeds with other wcers, but random items in the bank get annoying after a while
