Does Total XP or Rank Matter to You?

Seems to have a mix reply on this subject. i guess each one of us play rs for our own reasons. Hence there is no justification to label me a "no lifer" or somehow who has low rank or xp as noobs. For me, I use rank & xp to drive myself to attain my goals. Others may play rs spending time pking or playing cw. To each as own and lets not have bad or negative comments about another player style.

I don't really care about total xp. Having a lvl 99 raises the xp by alot. Some people go for 99s, other for quest. Its all on how you like to play the game. Yeah I'm going for a 99 now, just to max out the skill. I dont think I'll ever max out xp. 200,000,000 xp is alot. lol

I don't care much of rank since I will never be in the Top 100. What's the point in getting that rank? In a few or maybe in a year, you could grow up into bigger or better things than RuneScape. I for one do not care for rank.

Exp? I might care about this a bit. I would go for 99 sometimes, but school always comes first. Without school we couldn't even play this game or understand it. Where do we get with RuneScape? Hardly any ware. I do give RuneScape some credit for my typing class and some words I've never heard of, but hardly any ware.

I use individual skill levels to get goals and rarely even notice the total level.

As long as I'm enjoying my game time I couldn't care less about the ranks, although seeing my slayer rank go over 1k increments is nice.

Honestly, some people get to the point where they want a new challenge for themselves. So if someone has very high levels and they want to try to make rank goals for themselves, why not? Runescape can be boring for a lot of high-lvl players and I think that people who want new goals aren't no-lifers.

As for me? XD Dream on, I'll never get near the top of anything on RS.

I sometimes look at overall rank of a person just to see where they are ranked. I do this also for myself, but mostly I do this to see how much of a gain I make in the charts by just leveling one skill.
