annoying, yes. Sad, yes. Preventable? Yes.

Edit: if you see a player offering food, an item or any other object and saying "show inventory" By all means, report!!

I saw someone at Catherbury doing this the other day, first I have seen of it.
It was: “Giving away free sharks, show your inventory!”
They were still there later after a few hours.

1. It's not a scam.
2. If you get "scammed" like this, don't call the scammer stupid, look in the mirror.

Basically most of the scams are based on peoples immaturity and stupidity.

Not really, Jagex made it clear if you press the accept button after the second clear its your fault. Check the screens.....

If someone made a mistake with me and asked politely for their item back, I would trade back. You'd know if it's a scammer if he ignores you.

If he's ignoring you he's most likely checking how much he made off you. It's their fault if you accept the trade twice.

This is quite a oftenly used scam. It's not fairy easy to evade, but if you have a goodsence of thinking, you wouldn't have fallen for it.

i saw this once
i was fletching show in the end i got a profit lol
28 willow [u] for 28 sharks

haha i laughed so hard after reading that this was a scam lol
