And, simply out of curiosity, how come you wouldn't be able to send a ban appeal?
When did I say you wouldnt be able to send a ban appeal? You can send ban appeals now, you'd be able to send mute appeals and tradeblock appeals if this was implemented.

But the trade-block thing? That's stupid... He gets a 1 month trade-block, so he spends on month on combat training;mining;whatever. The next month, he Real World Trades, gets another 1 month block. I'm not seeing how that helps.
Then they get a permanent trade-block, obviously. Just like now, you can get a temp ban or a permaban, you could have a temp trade-block, or a permanent trade block.

Also, to be restricted to simply training skills and walking around instead of being banned...sounds like a living Hell.
I personally wouldnt care too much if I was muted. I hardly ever talk anyway. And as for trading, sure, I'd get annoyed, but I'd get used to it. There are players who have never traded with anyone, I'm sure, and still have millions.

If you take away the censor, people will begin to curse profusely.
Those who swear profusely get muted. The point is, instead of making it impossible to swear, a culture of no swearing should be taught. That would make people better people outside of game as well.

Thank you. Banning people will just make them spiteful towards Jagex. Teaching them to not break the rules is always better.
And this could be good for Jagex, too, not just the players who would have otherwise been banned. A banned p2p player is unlikely to go back and pay for the game again, but mute them or trade-block for a while, and they will keep playing.
