You do not have to be perfectly god for five years straight and to be a member to become a PMod.

Five years straight is an obivous lie. Runescape has only been around that long and there are many players who became mods after just one year.

I know a f2p mod, but they were a member when they became one. Obviously it is harder to become one as a F2p'er but that is only because jagex will not see your name as often. (Since they dont have acess to forums)

All you need to do is act maturely, report rule-breakers, and get jagex's attention. this would be done most effectively on the forums, also if you have contacts with Mods of any type.

i repeat, becoming a mod as a F2per is not impossible. Just a bit harder.

i hope people who set out looking to be p-mods never become them, as most people who want a positon of power, mod etc. are power hungry and will often do the job badly if they get to it, which i hope they never do.

that's a good point. Most of these players who wish to become moderators do not quite understand there is a dark side to everything that may 'seem' good.

Players choose to want to be moderators to have that; shiny silver crown next to their name. to put a sense of fear in their rivals. And so on.

What they dont realise is that everyone can see what you say; you cannot break a rule, if you get hacked - you lose your mod-ship for an unsecure account.

There are many bad sides to becoming a moderator, but yes, I can undersand you wish to be rewarded for doing something good. But if you are only doing that good thing for a reward, then you do not deserve anything at all...

I still haven't figured out how to post in Jagex's forums...I don't see a "post' button or anything anywhere...

But either way...I've reported people often, and the only response I ever get is a message from Jagex when they take action.

It would be kind of cool if there was an in-game mail box that could be used not only for Jagex sending those messages, but also for sending letters to other players...

It'd also be kind of neat if after so many reports in which Jagex took action, you got an item, similar to an amulet, that you'd wear on your neck, no stats on it, but just looked neat. Like a medal or something.

If you get a message that means that you should keep up what you are doing and you will have a better chance of being a p mod... I like haveing a talk to newbies about scammers and to watch out for them.

all i got from Jagex for reporting ppl that they are taking action but when i see the same account hes braking the rules... so i think JAGEX dont do much when you say them... but if many ppl do this they start to watch them...
