Runescape Weather... Is it here?

Well, we all obviously know about the new, incredibly "huge", update to come at the end of this year, beginning of next. Just look at this, this is what they posted on the BTS:

We couldn't part from you without mentioning something very, very big on the horizon. The new year brings a stunning new update, and we are so happy with it that we are going to let a few hints trickle out over the next few weeks...

Hm.. Either they are hinting at weather or just pulling all of our legs.
It seems like this is the first of their 'hints', it seems pretty likely :wink:

Blehh..I rather they add something other than a graphical update. Weather would just be something t hat's cool at first, but then gets annoying.

Lets face it all they could do is snow and rain. That's not huge or anything impressive.

People that live in Western USA really have never seen snow Anubis

As for the weather update I think it will be good for Runescape, it will make it better to play during. And maybe it would even change how the combat system. Also maybe during the different seasons you will be able to fish/cook special foods.

Not snow IRL, snow in game, aka last year's Christmas activity.

I think it'd be interesting if certian things could only be done at a specific point in the year, but I doubt Jagex has thought about it that much. I don't even know if they are really hinting on anything, other than that they are trying to trick us yet again :roll:

With all of the new graphics, I'd be interested to see if they bump up the minimum requirements for playing too...Not quite so sure if a lower end PC could handle all of the weather :lol:

Lol, we don't have a tv or a station to broadcast a weatherman. Besides we can tell what the weather will be whenever we want.

I don't think they're gonna make snowing and raining because they only fit some specific areas. Although, i do believe they're going to do something to the sky of Runescape.

To do someting to the sky they'd have to create sky first, then they'd have to tweak the camera angle.

Seriously I'd rather this was a new skill or something over some lame weather or sky.

Lets all get excited and make outragously mad claims instead.

Like..JAGEX ARE GOING TO LET US OWN OUR OWN TOWNS AND WE CAN PICK WHO WE WANT TO LIVE IN THEM.

Now THAT would be cool. And you could like, higher gaurds and declare war on other towns.

OMG jagex is teh best.

Weather would be pretty neat, although I'm hoping it will affect other aspects of the game other than the sky.
