The 'Made by' items.

Well I was thinking, what if in runescape every item you make it gets a 'Made by xxx' .

It would be cool but there is one flaw.

Imagine the prices on an Item that Zezima made or The Old Nite, that would be considered a rare.

Well, It would lag soo much so we wouldn't be able to even examine it.
Your talking about tracking an item, and something so much used like rune plate would be nearly impossible to track.
But it would be nice.

Yeah that would be really cool, you could examine your rune pl8, and see all the names of people who had owned it before you. But it would be impossible, and again the problem of having certain famous people's old rune plate, could sell for alot.

lmao examining it and seeing all the peoples hands it had been in that would lagg stupidly and plus the list would be enormous but still its a good idea if it said it was made by you because people could end up wearing sets of armour saying made by blah blah blah

edited: it might be a bit of a problem with stackable items such as arrows

I always thought it would be kind of interesting seeing the history of an item, previous owners, etc. But I really don't want to go into a bank and see:
"OMG SELLING ZEZIMA MADE MITHRIL BATTLE AXE OFFERS!!"

I like the idea, but maybe to save all the Zezima had this, blah blah blah, they made it so it said something like "Last Owned by: XYZ" so that you couldn;t sell an item off for more money if a famous player owned it, although, if you bought the item from someone like Zezima, you could show it to people, and it would be "Last owned by: Zezima" but if it was traded then it would say your name instead.

Yeah, it would be the same as an untradable rare. You can show people that it was owned by Zezima, but once you pass it on it's status will change.

Instead of saying the creator of the item there could be a list of the players who owned the item. We also could have the option to add our name to that list.
For example:

Dragon dagger (p++)
Owners:
I pked u lawl I
Pure h4x0rz i
Welcome2lumby
Purexstrenght
Lmaoudied
i zemzima i
i ownag3g3 i
9999magelawl
Guthixpklawl
rune sense

And on the trade screen you would have the option
Add your name to list (tick square):
[X]

I dont think you guys totally understood what he was saying. It wouldn't keep a history of every single person who had owned the item. Just who created it. They do this on World of Warcraft, which I am assuming is where you got the idea from, zvono?

I think it would be interesting but it could create the potential for more scams which is not good. Imagine a magic root: Dug By Shane12088

And as for the idea of list of owners... that would also be interesting but would be a pain to implement
