Or just to rush through them to unlock all the rewards?
Are you enjoying yourself doing this or do you feel like myself, feeling that the magic is long gone.
I LOVE fashionscape too but I usually skip the events altogether .

I still enjoy every XMAS , it's my favorite time of the year to play. DXP Events are OP but I still find myself taking full advantage of the situations .

Still have little hope that one day , the Yak Track will be back.

What are your thoughts and opinions on "current" RS events ?

I'm more or less retired from RS3 for the time being. But regarding this subject...

I found the events less fun and enjoyable as time went on. The biggest problem is they were just too time consuming for unlocking rewards. I'm not saying they should just hand everything over on the first training tick (though I wouldn't complain about that). But the sheer amount of time and low exp gain just didn't make them worth it when you could be doing anything else.

I believe my first ever event was Easter where I got a rubber chicken. It's a cool memory to have and definitely something that was a big part of why I started playing to begin with.

Yak Track had similar issues where it just felt forced and like a part of the game where it enticed people to play more than they normally would or should. FOMO in games is real and RS is no different. For a long time, I had a completionist mindset of wanting to do and achieve everything when it came to events. But that went away this past year or two.

Don't get me wrong, events and Yak Track should be a part of the game in some form. But I think Jagex should listen to its players to understand what they enjoy most and adjust accordingly. For me, the events should be simple, not too time consuming to unlock rewards and some decent exp gain for your trouble. Do just those two things and you'll see a lot more people participating in them.
