Why isnt there a maed/range version???

My main combat style is melee, but I use the other kinds of armour (namely d'hide/karil's) for some of my slave tasks. Today I got a task and wanted pray bonus so i could pary piety the whole time, but the monster uses mage, so I didnt want to take my Initiate (I didn't want t pray prot prayers AND piety.

Why isn't there a version of the Initiate and Proselyte for mages and rangers? If anyone knows of a low defence, high pray bonus ranged armour, please let me know!

The Void Elite Rangers set has okay mdef, decent prayer and high ranged. It may take a while to get, but it might be your best bet. Armadyl also gives a slight prayer bonus.

This game should be called MeleeScape tbh.

Jagex just favors Melee.

Yeah, you guys are both right. and Ranging, I even use melee as my main attack style

I know that the zamorak Mage robes have a decent pray bonus... I would go to the rs wiki and search prayer bonus... It should give you some ideas.

The new necromancer robes are equivalent to mystic for their magic attack/defence but also have a decent prayer bonus. Good luck getting gold keys though.
