Hello everybody. You probably don't know me as I do not post often, but on other sites I got not much of a response to this, so I thought I would stare my theories with you.
I am a quester, I got my cape about a week ago. I don't expect many of you are, but try and keep with me.
This month, the first "Grandmaster" quest is going to come out. Many people haven't really mentioned this theory, which to be honest is kind of odd to me. I believe this is "the begining of the end" of sorts. I believe RuneScape quests, or all the current storylines will end in the next year, and end with the Second God Wars.
This is the first step. They are tying in two (or more!) of the biggest storylines in the next quest, which they admitted to be true.
This involves the Mahjraat (sp) meaning it will tie in the following quests, I am quite sure:
1. Desert Treasure
2. Fight Arena
3. Hazeel Cult
4. Dealing with Scabaras (Desert Series)
5. Defender of Varrock (Arrav Series)
6. A Tail of Two Cats (Cat Series)
7. Legacy of Seergaze (Vampire Series)
Those are just the start. It said "specialists and concerned dignitaries". Comes off as the white knights, eleves, and even the gnome king. That is three more major storylines into the mix. Imgine this, you gather the forces of good (gnomes, elves, Tyras's army, knights of Varrock and Lumby guard, the knights of Camelot, allied monkeys, Arrav, ect.) versus the newly assembled bad guys, as it is quite possible for the King of Ardy, and the Majhraat (sp?), ect. to team up to revive Zamorak, and take the world over. With the portal from "Meeting History", you could possibly bring back Guthix, and find a way to revive Saradomin.
Don't forget the Dragonkin either. It was hinted at that they would be involved in this upcoming quest. Possibly they would be joining the "Bad Guys". Don't forget the battle between the fairies, I think a link in their dimension would help bring Zammy back, and wouldn't the Bad Guys just love that? The godfather would do anything to meet his own needs.
And with all this going on, what do you have? The Second God Wars.
I don't expect this all to take place in one quest (although it would be truely the first epic thing in RuneScape EVAR) but I do expect something like this to happen. So many of the old hard quests left many things unanswered, and I fear if they don't answer them soon they either won't or will give up asking them.

I remember I died 10 times at the Shadow guy but after I killed him, I was so happy. Lost obby shield and cape at the blood guy, but still happy. Must be the best quest I ever experience! Anyways, those theories look about right. I'll be looking forward to that quest since im a quest caper myself!
