I prefer Fishing since Mining you have to be attendive too much and with Woodcutting you could cut Magic Tree's but you wouldn't make as much as you would with Fishing doing Monkish/Sharks :D

Similar random events as well.

Woodcutting: Axe heads used to fly off from time to time, however it has been removed.

Fishing spots move constantly. Trees get chopped down, however they never move.

You can wield an axe.

I'll say fishing is a bit harder.

I agree with Alex. I have higher woodcutting then fishing because it is easier to get a level in because you get more xp per log(s) then fishing one fish. I believe that fishing is hard to levle in, also, just ask Brad about fishing and see who he replys.

Whats wrong with mining? It has very fast xp with iron for f2p and granite for members. You can make lots of money with mining too. If you have 40 crafting you can go into the mining guild and mine lots of gold. Gold sells for a little over 500gp. And if you are a member there are a few spots. to mine rune ore, and it sells for 12k ea.

Mining ftw.
