Awesome Money for F2P

When I was F2P I always struggled with making money. There were lots of ways I did it. The first one was mining clay. It respawns almost instantly and mines relatively fast. RIght now it sells for 112 market price ge with no requirements. The second one was buying cowhides tanning them into SOFT leather then selling. This one was good but it got to be super boring. One that most people wont think of is regular bones. They sell for almost 100gp each and most people dont pick them up when killing cows. Making steel bars is decent. You just buy the ore on ge smelt it then sell. Hope my tips helped some of you out there.

I just catch lobster. It's soo much easier than any of those methods... To me anyway...

I remember being poor as sin (on my first account) when I was a low level f2per. Of course, I was still learning the game, but I made the majority of my money by making ruby rings and selling them to the jewelery store in Port Sarim. :]

Lobster catching is my primary source of income in F2P. That and merchanting in GE. Try it, it's easier than you think. I can guarantee myself 200k per day but I tend not to risk buying unstable items.

My tips are meant for no requirement ways of making cash except for the steel bars.

Hmm.. I remember a lot of people running essence too and from a player for money, or simply free airs, which could be sold for a small profit.

Without any requirements ... hmm, it kind of sounds like a part time job. You only have to be this age, get involved in the community somewhat, have good grades, and know what the heck you're doing to be hired (at least here in the U.S.)

but you'd have to present yourself too of course.

Good tips though - I remember actually crafting soft leather into things and selling it for a bit more .. pretty sure that's where crafting starts after all. You could get decent combat levels selling regular bones, depending on what you kill ... or you could just pick them up off the ground. Either way, it's alright .. I know when I was f2p all I did was either sell coal or make steel platebodies.

Smithing steel bars is a nice way to get 1M in f2p. If you buy 1 iron ore and 2 coal ore for max price on GE the total price comes out to 452. Steel bars sell @ min for 590. That alone is a 138 gold profit. Just have to repeat it.

I prefer mining though. Iron ore is currently 98gp with no signs of change. I'd say that's better than coal because coal price has dropped 1.1% in the past week.

Crafting airs is a good way but the price for air runes has dropped 7.1% in the past week. My friend found a way to get airs quickly + a lot of xp.

Repeat this process and you can get around 280-310(ish) xp each trip, awesome for f2p!

Just remember to use the air rc gloves to max out the most exp you can get. So that means get to playing FoG!
