I also choose the quickest option available. I am an impatient person in most cases.

Whether its the bosses at the end of the Legends quest.
Or Runecrafting via the abyss.

Risk or reward? I see it as "Is the reward worth the wait?"

Every time I hear a question about something on the safer route or the faster route, almost everyone wants to be fast and doesn't care about safety.

For example, someone might ask if they should use fairy rings or the abyss to craft nature runes.

Today, a new way to safely craft chaos runes was introduced. I have heard rants about "the only reason I did the quest was for my cape," but I beg to differ. I like the safe way to craft chaos. It lets me avoid the wilderness, just like I have always done.

I also am a prayer noob, and a defence noob, and a tele noob, and so on, just trying to be safe.
I use the abyssal space for my pouches, and only go to the abyss when my pouches are broken.

So, would you rather be safe or speedy?

yeah, its actually faster to take the shortcut from varrock east bank than it is to abyssal craft or just run through the widerness.
1) the distance is shorter to run than the trip to the actual alter itself.
2) taking into account teh time it takes to get through the abyss, the distance from bank to abyss entry and cae entry ts the same, and the time spent in the abyss/cave is the same too, but the shortcut cave has no variable time, its just a strait shot.
3) the shortcut cave lets you out 1 floor above the alter instead of 3 floors above. so its shorter in that aspect too. the new shortcut, assuming you brought a tele, is safer and faster than the abyss and running to the alter.

ps: i really wish that you could make a second chaos wand and use it as a chargeable chaos supply (ie, enchant it at alter with X number of chaos runes and it gives you 2X charges on the wand. Double your spell useage and save 1 inventory space.

What if it had UNLIMITED Chaos runes with it? And then you could combine Air staffs, Fire staffs, and Water shaffs into it? Then it would be total ownage.

I use speedy. If you are prepared, there isn't really a danger, like with the abyss. I just take an elven teleporting crystal, and I'm safe.

I tend to use the fastest way over the safest. I wouldn't think of rune crafting natures without Abyss. I prefer to use the fastest way and then try to find way to be safer using it. Such as a 1-click teleport option to avoid pkers who entangle before teleblocking.

Hope I was clear lol

I agree with Sephiroth.

I'd rather be fast, but with a little extra safety. Rather than taking the long way, use the fast way and try to find safe options within it.
