Most of the good level 3 clues send you into the wilderness.

And, yes, the good mages will have an advantage, but making it a new skill is just as unfair to them as it would be for adding it onto magic for you.

I'm not that great of a mage myself, I'm just saying.

I think that is awesome, right now magic is a pretty drab skill. In the wildy if they summon a greater thats not a big deal because it would probably require lots of runes and greaters arent event hat strong. And out side of wildy they can summon but they cant attack players because its not in wildy.

I for one hope its part of magic. With my lvl 71 magic I should be able to summon something descent.

Yes, and if it was, then all those with 99 craft would have been pwnage.

Let's break it down.

-At one time there was only magic. attack spells stopped after death runes. People still got level 99 magic.

-God spells and all the spells we have now came next. THose with 99 were already there and ready.

-Ancients and lunar spells released, and again, we still had 99.

What is to stop jagex from making a quest that involves summoning as a magic byproduct?

Out skills page has a bottom row with one skill. Hunting is about to release as a SEPERATE skill. THat will leave on bax, bringing us back to the setup we had before farming. Why not make it a sperate skill, have to collect bones or such of a creature to summon it? Demons no longer drop just ashes but lesser ashes, greater ashes, ect.

If you can summon a monster, it will be like cannons, you can't use them in the wild becuase it would be wayyy too unfair... lol they wouldnt make it so anypone with a decent mage could summon a dragon and own anyhting that takes a step their way...

well someone said befor they might just add it on to hunting also so you still need to level that and to the people who worked hard on there magic befor get an advantage

Though, we have no idea how it'll work. Who knows, maybe we just summon the undead, in which case demons and dragons won't be an option. And maybe they'll just be summoned for us to train on.

Well, never know... Summoning is bound to have some of those sort of quests... I just imagine some of the drawbacks, if you can summon "allies" if you do it wrong instead of the summon failing you end up messing it up and getting a level 240 black demon who was just about to settle down with the wife and kids for dinner and isn't too amused to see you... >_>
