New defender?----LOCK PLEASE

I was playing x-box, and my brother yelled to me saying that there is a new defender (barrows).

Since then, we havent heard any other news, or ways of getting this defender, could anyone fill me in a little bit more?

even if there was a new defender, dont you think it would follow the same path as gloves? it would have to go to dragon before barrows...

There will never be Barrows Defenders, because the Brothers didn't use them.

That and all the barrows weapons are 2h. And recieved in Barrows (funnily enough) whereas defenders are found in warriors guild.

Yeah.. defenders weren't in use back in the god wars.
That and it just wouldn't work. A dragon defender, however, I can imagine.
