So my dad used a line from Star Trek when talking to a neighbour about their messed up house plans that made it so their house is absurdly big and they never got it approved and stuff. Basically they did something annoying and everyone is *****. The line he used was something along the lines of "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few".

Anyway the question:

Have you ever used a Star Trek quote in a real life situation, or thought of a Star Trek situation?

Dear Shane,
Just wanted to let you know I got an "A" [98%] on that paper I wrote for my English class regarding Canada and the Quebec Separatism issues. I also wanted to thank you again for the role you played in that paper as well. My paper turned out to be about 11 pages long.

Staying on topic; Hosts, what are the longest papers you've written?
