Have any mac users noticed that Firefox scrolling is about 4 times better than chrome? I am using the obvious ******* system settings. Firefox scrolling seems smooth and nice, while chrome is choppy and ewwish.

I like everything about chrome, except this. But, this is a major issue.

Is there any fix for this? Could I transition into firefox whilst maintaing the same experience?

Like I said, I'm all set up In chrome.

( I use: Chromeadblock, chrome's users feature, bookmark bar, DNT+, flashblock, click to enable plugin)

This is really annoying; and I'm not super-sure what to do.

Opinions?

Thanks!

Love,
F401

I don't notice terrible discrepancies between Firefox and Chrome for scrolling... I do notice a difference, and I'd assume that's due to Firefox having smooth scrolling on the Mac platform. However, the difference isn't drastic. It's noticeable, but still not crazy different IMO.

Here's what I found for Chrome on Mac:

So it could be enabled at some point soon, just not quite yet. I did find this extension, but the defaults aren't all too smooth for me. I think it could probably be adjusted to better suit the needs that you're looking for, but I'm not sure if it's even actively maintained anymore.

No issues for me. There were issues when Lion first came out if I had RS running at the same time. These got fixed around 10.7.2 I think.

I don't play runescape anymore. And the scrolling isn't exactly dismal, it just isn't as optimal as firefox.
