Been away from the Scape!

i started playing runescape in 2002. and i "retired" from the game. about... 13 months ago...

loged in for the 1st time since then last night. played for about an hour. and about 2 hours today.

can anyone tell me what i've missed , what's new? since a year.

like big updates (or ish ) things that i should know. or that you would be kind enough to informe me of :mrgreen:

not getting fully back into the game ( for personal reasons ) but might come back to a semi scaper.

Well, a few quests came out, and a new skill. The new skill is dungeoneering and it involves going through levels upon levels of dungeons at the castle of Daemonheim. This skill has been known to be more of a very large minigame than a skill until an update that allowed the skill to be used outside of the castle of Daemonheim. One other thing you may have noticed is that hitpoints, now changed to constitution, has been multiplied by 10. As a result, other things such as damage and such have also been multiplied by ten. Those are a few of the major things that has happened.

as usaull jagex screwed up the hp has changed and theres a new skill thats real wired it should be a minigame.

I don't know if you will be getting back into the game enough to do slayer but they released things called Effigies that are dropped by a variety of monsters. They are basically like skill lamps on steroids and the good thing is: you can have more than one at a time. However to get the lamp you have to go through a series of "forms" that require high levels in skills in order to receive the lamp. This is usually accomplished by requesting assistance from another player.
